Castiel's POV

I took a long sniff of the fresh air of autumn. It was cold yet it felt nice. My tan trench coat moved with the breeze as I walked toward the familiar, tall, yellow house. I noticed the 1967 Chevy Impala as I moved toward the porch. I walked up the old, wooden steps towards the door. It was just as I remembered, tall, white and stained from all those years of colored water, water balloon fights. I was feeling nostalgic as I rung the doorbell. I heard that same ping sound as I waited patiently for someone to answer. I heard some shuffling from behind the door before it swung open. "Cas!", The green eyed man exclaims. "It's good to see you too, Dean", I said as we hugged. We pulled away and Dean gestured for me to come in. I walked in and saw the messy yet clean living room like it had always been. The smell, oh the smell. It smelled like cinnamon and wet dog, it smelled like home. I followed Dean towards the kitchen and he pulled out two beers. "I can't drink that", I started to tell him. He looked confused. "I'm a recovering alcoholic", I finished saying. He looked concerned yet relaxed. "It's really been that long?", Dean asked as he sat down. I followed his motion and sat down as well on the wooden chairs that seemed to be more broken than before. "Yup, 9 years. So I noticed the Impala that's out there. You still have her, huh?", I asked, and looked at the ground. I saw all of the scratch marks on the wooden floor that were caused by chairs being dragged around. "Yup, I'm never letting that baby go. To much of a classic", Dean responded. I just nodded. "So, how's Lisa?", I asked Dean, looking up at him. "Great, I think. We got a divorce last year but Ben still gets to stay with me some days of the week", Dean replied with a disappointed tone. "Who's Ben?", I asked. "You don't know?", Dean asked as he stood up. He walked across the kitchen and picked up a picture frame. He walked back and plopped down in the chair next to me.He took a swig of beer, showed me the picture and pointed at a kid with similar features as his. "Ben's my kid. He just turned seven", Dean said, standing back up to move the picture back to its spot. "So you got married, had a kid and got a divorce? I've barely even started my life and you've already almost completed yours. All that's left is retirement", I said, looking at Dean who was still across the room. Dean moved closer and said, "I really haven't started my life". "What do you mean?", I asked, as I dragged my foot across the ground. "It's why I asked you to come visit after all these years", Dean replied, pulling me up to my feet. "And why's that?", I asked, completely and utterly confused. "Because", Dean paused and inhaled deeply. He got closer to me and finished saying, "because, I've been in love with you since the first time we meet". He stood there waiting for my response. I processed what had happened very slowly and looked at Dean Winchester right in the eyes. "It's been a struggle for me for these past nine years. It's why I started drinking, because you were gone and because I feel in love with you. I still am totally in love with you", I said while ours eyes stayed locked the whole entire time. He pulled me into a long passionate kiss and I rested my hands on his hips. Dean pulled away and he said, "I love you so much, Castiel Novak". I intertwined our fingers and said, "I love you too".
