Behind the eyes
Is a desperate weep
Mental torturing cries
Just something deep
Behind the eyes
Is a broken heart
Begging for no more
Just someone torn apart
Its burning to its core
Behind the eyes
Are splotchy tears
Something screaming
Running from multiple fears
Demons double teaming
Behind the eyes
Is a person who keeps to themself
And I know for certain
Secrets hide behind the shelf
