the hall of fallen Heroes

Numbers everywhere... No not numbers but coding. the natural coding of the multiverse. as I traveled along the coding my body ravaged a familiar sensation. Not pain but still not pleasant. feeling my body start to become solid once more as my feet make contact with a cold white floor. Blinded by the light of the vast room almost as big as the multiverse itself. As my eyes focused on the blinding light. I'm  greeted with rows of glass display cases each holding something. Each case about 5 feet tall, each plane of glass clean and clear of any dirt. At the bottom of each stands a golden plate with their name and universe on it.  after a while of walking, I come to a newer looking display case. a bright green GI inside. Bonded to the right hip a small head of a golden dragon adored the material. The suit itself was a few inches tall than I. Looking down at the bottom of the case I spot a small photo taped to the glass. near a small golden nameplate. it read Lloyd G, Universe Ninjago. I smile as tears threaten to stain my face as I look on a photo.

~flashback~

" MidRift come on wake up" ..." what, who, what's up to Lloyd?" I mumble as my bedding gets ripped ways. The cold air hitting my skin, making my body scrunch up into a ball. " five more minutes please" I whine as I'm dragged from my warm bed." come on or you will be late and you know who sensei is on tardiness". opening my eyes I see a young Lloyd standing over me . " fine let me get dressed " I yawn. " ok but if you fall asleep again I have jay help me thrown you off the bounty" he says as he closed the door. Getting up off the floor, I dress myself in a dark green faded tunic, brown shorts and thigh-high combat boot . " good morning everyone" I say to my friends as I walk out onto the deck of the bounty. " good Morning MidRift" a mediating Zane says to me as I walk pass to the bowsprit of the bounty . looking over all I see is Safire blue water speeding past us. " hey MidRift, how old are you today?" I turn around to see Kai in his red GI looking at me. "Well, I don't remember exactly how old I am," I say as I walk over to the railing . " wow we knew you were old but never that old," Cole says as he walked over to me to give me a hug. " it ok Cole, " I say hugging back. 'well we should get a picture so you can have something to remember us by" Sensei says as he walks over to us with a camera. " ok but I want a photo will all you and a group picture ok" I say as we all get into position. After a few photos, we took one last one me and Lloyd . " say cheese" we hear sensei say as we look at the camera.

Ninjago was quite to quite. flying over the corridor of elders I see something. On looking closer I realize it was an andicondi, circling back over I see something in its hand. landing before it I see the green hood and blood all over its mouth. " no...no " I shudder as it slithers closer. " the green ninja is no more you abomination" it hiss as he continues towards he. the earth around me seemed to stop as I hear those words. my blood seemed to freeze in its veins as I image Lloyd dead, a lifeless body lying on the ground covered in blood. my best friend dead. It can't be, this can't happen. tears creep down my face as I cry for my fallen friend. dripping in the sand gold and platinum tears streamed down my face. " No, I can't let you pass" I growl, anger flooding my veins, clouding my vision until all I see is the serpentine. my magic seemed to boil as I lose sight of what I am doing.

I hear screams of mercy, begging, pleading to live. none met, nothing left not of the serpentine. the memories of me and the good time the ninja and I had gone. that tragic incident was gone. I had reset the universe and left no trace that I was ever there.

~ Flashback ends~

Tears flowing stead as I continue to look at the green GI. all those memories gone erased from that universe. the sound of my weeping echoes throw-out the hall. " I must make this right," I say as I get up . my skin tingles with the familiar sensation as I disappear out of the hall of heroes.

the last I see was that Bright green GI and the photo of two good friends, not knowing what the future had in store. I know where I need to go, I hope I'm not too late. but where I am going is a different adventure.
