"Thank you, RENO!" The whole band shouts. The crowd goes ape shit, throwing things on stage. Something limp falls on Billie's shoulder. He pulls it only to see that it's a bra. Wow, bold move, whoever you are who threw the bra! Lance, on the other hand, has been catching bras and panties like it's raining under garments. These girls just have too many of them, I suppose.
They leave the stage and while half of the crowd have dispersed, another half are still lingering around. Lexie greets the band with her arms wide open, calling for a group hug. So while they are embracing each other warmly, I'll just stand here...alone.
"Hey, kiddo!" Dawn calls out to me. "Join in our little orgy here." I cringe, "Okay, but I'm not calling it an orgy." And so there we are, the band, Lexie and I, hugging each other. It's cringe-wrothy, since the band are sweating like pigs and it smells really odd. While I rest my head comfortably on Dawn's arm, Lexie tells them how proud she is that the band is on tour and all that- I'm not really listening. Sorry. I'm just really enjoying the hug...it's been some time. And then, someone decides to ruin my peace and flicks my ear. I mouth an 'ow', looking to see who did it. My eyes land on Ash, who's looking at me with a smirk. He winks and then continues to listen to Lexie's little speech. That rascal...that good looking rascal...
"Alright, let's hit the dressing room first and get our shit." Lexie announces. "And then, we've got fans to meet. Just a lucky few, no worries. I know y'all are beat."
We leave the venue and are met with a group of girls (and some boys, about four of them) screaming. I cower behind Lexie, hiding from these savaging girls. They're wearing colourful dresses and holding bags, books and polaroid cameras. Very well equipped, I see.
"ASH! Ash, I love you so much! Please take a picture with me!" One of them wails. Ash agrees to and she gives the camera to her friend. He puts an arm around her and sticks a tongue out beside her face. Gross, but kind of hot in the same time. She seems to think it's hot. The polaroid comes out and she makes him sign it for her. His signature is just like him, messy and bold.
"SIGN MY TITS!" One of the girl says, pulling her shirt low, almost exposing her full boob. The boys look at each other in ecstacy and immediately grab markers from the other girls. Soon enough, the other girls are asking for the same thing.
Dawn lights a cigarette while signing things for the more decent girls. She shakes her head at the ruckus the boys caused and laughs it off. The four boys who are with the group of fangirls are standing away from the crowd, looking scared. Dawn sees the boys and asks, "Why are you guys just standing there? Not dying for an autograph?" The boys look at each other and then walk really slowly towards Dawn.
"Dawn Hart." One of the boys say, not believing what they're seeing. They're all wearing almost the same things; rock band shirts and bell-bottomed jeans. The one with the messiest blonde hair says, "You were a goddess up there, man. Super rad." Dawn smiles at their compliments and takes out the cigarette from her lips, exhaling some smoke. She says, "Thanks, cool of you to say that." She scoffs and repeats, "Goddess."
"We were the opening band to your show, by the way. We didn't get to meet because you guys had some mix up about the bassist and stayed in the dressing room most of the time." The boy with brown hair says. He has very, very nice lips. Dawn gasps, "Oh shit, really? I'm sorry we missed your show, man. What are you guys called?" The one with black hair quickly exclaims, "Parasites!"
I accidentally give out a laugh at the mention of their band's name, earning looks from them. "Sorry." I mumble. Dawn says, "Cool name. Keep up the dream." One of the boys timidly ask, "Say, you don't happen to have roadies already, do you? I saw Lance struggling to put up his drum kits during soundcheck."
