7: Silent Rescue

Taeyeon is bewildered. She doesn't how to talk with Tiffany since Tiffany had left her phone charging at home while she went to the party with her appa. However, Taeyeon insists in tailing Tiffany to the party. Despite the fact that the people in the party are all infamiliar to her, Tiffany smiles sheepishly to everyone she meets. It's not that she doesn't know all of them, instead, she does know few of them but she doesn’t know how to start a conversation with them, neither does she want to. Thus, she decides to follow her appa, walking around the party, talking with those uncles, which makes her feel more awkward.

“Johnson!” A lady with glamorous dressed up calls for her dad’s name. Along with her, there are two beautiful teenagers. Each of them owns  an arrogant look.

“Hey, you look absolutely gorgeous, Martha,” her father praises the latter.

“Hey look at this pretty girl here. She must be Tiffany, right? Her eyes are just like…”

“Eomma.” Tiffany interrupts Auntie Song when she is trying hard to think of whose eyes they look alike with.

“Ahh, yeah. That women,” Auntie Song rudely named Tiffany’s eomma as ‘that women’ and Tiffany is very offended with that address.

“Johnson, this is my honeys, Hyuna and Eunjung. And girls, this is Uncle Hwang Johnson and her daughter, Hwang Tiffany.”

While the adult are busy chatting with each other, Hyuna and Eunjung give Tiffany death glares and in return, Tiffany gives them the same glare. She feels that she has had a very wrong idea about these two girls before meeting them. Her appa always tells her that Auntie Song and her kids are warm and kind but thing goes ironically opposite from the imagination that her appa gave her when she meets them. Tiffany regrets that she doesn’t bring her phone together with her, and now, she's dead boring.

“Honeys, can you bring Tiffany to tour around our house. I don’t want her to lose herself  in our big house when we’re living together, soon,” Auntie Songs says to her daughters arrogantly.

“Sure mummy,” both of them smirk cynically before standing up to leave their seats.

Tiffany stares at her father and signalling her father with a face that clearly shows her disagreement. But her appa just taps his palm on Tiffany’s thigh, mouthing ‘it’s okay’ to her. Tiffany takes a deep breath and follows them from the back. The two in front are whispering and giggling to one another as if they're planning for a murder or so. Tiffany is oblivious of these as she's busy looking around the house. Taeyeon is walking next to Tiffany. She knows that these girls are up to something and she's very concerned of it. Without Tiffany's knowing, they've already reached the side gate and have stopped abruptly beside the pool.

“Tiffany, do you know that we’re going to be a family?” Hyuna asks Tiffany with her arms akimbo. Her eyes are staring at the clear pool.

“Mwolla,” Tiffany replies coldly to Hyuna.

“Pabo Hwang. We’re not going to share anything with you even your pabo dad is marrying with my mummy,” Eunjung blurts out.

“Yah! What’s wrong with you?! My appa is not a pabo!” Tiffany begins to lose her temper.

“Yea, he is a pabo. He killed your eomma too! Just that it's not in a criminal way but still, it's counted as killing!” Hyuna steps forward, confronting Tiffany.

“What?!” Tiffany frowned. Her blood boiling inside.

“Your appa killed your eomma! Arraso?!” Hyuna uses her fingers to trail her own neck.

That's it. They're hitting Tiffany's most sensitive spot. She loses her control and pushes Hyuna towards the pool but Eunjung pulls Tiffany's hair, causing her to move backward instead. Hyuna is still struggling with Tiffany because Tiffany is grabbing her blue dress tightly.

“Yahh! Let go of me!” Hyuna commanded.

“Ask her to let go first!” Tiffany uses her free hand to pull Eunjung’s hair.

“Arkkk arkkk! My hair! Arkk!” Eunjung pulls Tiffany’s hair harder as reflect when she's in pain.

Three of them keep moving back and forth while abusing each other. Hyuna manages to escape from Tiffany's grab, she turns around to push Tiffany towards the pool. Tiffany's lower dress is torn by her accidentaly. Tiffany is about to fall into the pool but she feels a force is pushing her away from it. She is safe but the two monsters do not give up and run towards Tiffany again after their first fail attempt. Tiffany is standing right next to the pool. She's aware of them but couldn't do anything as she is stunned by the incident which just happened to her.

They’re coming closer and closer. Suddenly, Tiffany is pushed aside. The girls couldn't stop themselves as the floor is slippery and so, they, in another word, 'suicide'. They're trying to float themselves in the water while Tiffany is laying on the floor, looking at the girls. She feels that something is wrong. Something or maybe, someone is helping her but she doesn’t know what it is.

“Tae is that you?” Tiffany blurts Taeyeon's name out of sudden. She has a very strong instinct telling her that Taeyeon is the one who helps her.

“Dae Tiffany, it’s me,” Taeyeon kneels down in front of Tiffany, with her worried face on.

Hyuna and Eunjung scream in the pool as they know that their makeups are ruining by the chlorine water. Soon, they're surrounded by the crowds as everyone is running towards the pool to check what the fuse is about.
