Chapter 5

I woke up with Chae looking over me. She turned to Ken as I woke up. Ken walked over and sighed. "Sorry, man. I tried to stop her." He looked down. I looked to Chae. "What?" I asked worried. I looked to my side and Naeun licked her lips at me. "What?" I asked again. Chae started waving her face. "What?" I felt like I was talking to the wall. "You know how Naeun mixed your guy's blood?" Ken asked still looking down. "Yes.." I got even more worried. "I keep her locked up because she is a special type of vampire. One who needs to be protected." Ken looked at her and back down. Naeun smiled and spun in her wheeling chair. "And?" I gulped. "By mixing your blood that means you have to protect her the rest of your life. And She has to be close to you at all times. If you past 7 yard line, away from each other you will both have heart attacks and burn to death. It's a curse." Ken tried to give the life changing news easily. It took a while to process. "You will end to feed her and clothe her like a exchange student. You can just tell her that she is from China. You also need to know who is a vampire and who isn't at your school. Got it? Oh, and you need to train. So come here everyday." Ken nodded and walked out. Chae sat down and sighed. I held her hand and smiled. "Everything will be okay." I rubbed her hand. "Ohh, You two are a couple." Naeun nodded. "If I knew that I would have mixed blood with you." She pointed the Chae and laughed. Chae soon left the room and said she wanted to talk to Ken. Naeun looked out the window and I just watched her hair flow in the wind. She turned to and smiled. She ran to my side and grabbed my hand. "I haven't been outside in forever come on. She dragged me to the window. "Can we?" She started to climb the window. "No!" I grabbed her wrist. She looked at me. "Waeeeee" She whined like a little baby. "Because! It's 4 stories up plus the cliff." I complained. She shook her body around as she whined. "Pleaseeee" She held the 'E' long. I shook my head sturnely. "No." I said getting angry. She rolled her eyes. "Aish!" I sighed.

Soon after that, Chaeyoung had came in to get us. "Naeun, the rest of the clan is here. Go bother them. I have to talk to N." Chae demanded. "Can't I stay? I want to talk to N more too!" She pouted. "Leo is here." Chae said. Naeun popped up with a huge smile on her face. "LEO OPPA!" She yelled as she bolted out the room. Chaeyoung came to me and sat down. "Listen, I know you're gonna be with her all the time, but don't start having feelings for her." Chaeyoung played with her fingers. I smiled.  I wrapped my arms around her and pulled her closer. "I would never do that. I love you." I whispered into her ear. She giggled. I kissed her neck before I backed away. "You're mine and I'm yours. Nothing could change that." We looked each other in the eye. She nodded.

We left later that night. I met people named Leo, Ravi, Hyuk,and hongbin. They were all apart of Ken's clan. They were all super nice but the Leo dude gave off a strange vibe. I still can't figure out if I liked him or not but anyway. We walked through the dark forest, Chaeyoung, Naeun and I. It was awkwardly silently. "So..." I said finally after a long time. Nothing. Suddenly Naeun started skipping along the path and started humming. "Be careful." I said as she twirled. She started twirling uncontrollably  and suddenly started going faster. "Hey." I said looking at her. "Just let her." Chae looked at her and to me. I got worried. Chae held my hand as we walked but I didn't keep my eyes of her feet. Hoping she won't fall. I saw a rock coming up and she was probably going to twist her ankle on it. "Watch out." I said as she stopped and stared at me. "What?" I asked as I kept walking. She smiled and walked behind us. I felt weight weight hit my back and I fell forward but caught myself. Naeun was on my back. Mine and Chae's hands were broken apart. I looked at her and tried to get Naeun off of me. She was almost choking me. I shrugged at Chae and she rolled her eyes. "I know she is jealous but why can't she understand I can't control what this girl does?" I thought to myself. "Naeun, I am not going to carry you if you aren't hurt." I said trying to get her off. She jumped off and ran in front of us. She smiled and twirled really fast and fell on her ankle. "Naeun!" I yelled at her. She looked at me with her teary eyes. "Help me." She pouted. I looked at Chae and sighed. I put her on my back and felt miserable. Our face said it all, Chae and I was frowning and Naeun was humming and smiling like the whole world is on her side. We arrived home and I saw Chae home then helped Naeun up to my room. I got into my room after using the restroom and I didn't see her anywhere. "Naeun?" I looked around. I stepped in more and still didn't see her. I slowly walked over to my bed when suddenly I felt something rip my feet from the ground causing me to drop. I fall straight onto my butt. "Ow!" I yelp. I look around my body and see Naeun under the bed smirking. "Yah!" I yelled glaring at her. "Jeez I just wanted to have some fun." She slid out from under the bed. "So where am I sleeping?" She asked getting on my bed. "Over there." I pointed to the area by my window. "Can't I have your bed?" She batted her eyes. "No!" I stood up rubbing my butt then walking over to my closet. I got out a plain white tee and some sweatpants. "I'll take you to your room." I set my stuff down on my bed and walked to my door. "OOooo yay!" She hopped up and ran over to me. I took her to the room right across from mine. "You can stay in here." I softly shoved her inside. She ran to the bed, got on it and started jumping. "Yah yah yah. Stop doing that." I shook my hand motioning her to get down. She pouted and plopped herself down. "Do you need anything?" I asked her backing up to the door. She shook her head. "Nope!" I nodded then left. I went back to my closet and got her a t-shirt and some pj pants. I walked over to her room. "Here." I threw the clothes at her. "Thanks!" She smiled. I smiled then shut her door. "Hey, Can I use your shower?" Her voice called from the other side of my room. "Yea. The bathroom with a bath is downstairs." I replied. I hear fast footsteps to the bathroom. I fell to the ground in pain. I heard a scream from the bathroom. I ran weakly and it stopped half way. I went into the restroom and she was on the ground with her bare back facing me. I jumped out and my face got red. "Sorry!" I yelled. "It's fine!" She yelled back. I heard the water running and I just sat in the hall until she was done. She got done and opened the door with her hair dripping wet. I started to blushed because she looked really attractive with wet hair. Why am I like this I have a girlfriend, But I am a teenage boy. No, Stop it. "What?" She looked at me confused. I panicked and said, "You are getting water everywhere." and pushed her back into the bathroom.
