Jennifer's P.O.V.
Finally that day everyone was dreading about was here. The day had dawned.

I was in no mood to dress up but I had to look presentable at my job. I wore a black and white checks shirt, blue jeans and white converse. I put on some light make-up and tied my hair in a bun. I put my stuff in the bag which Niall brought me from Paris. It is one of my favourites.

I decided to meet Kate before seeing her in the hospital. Anxiety was kicking in but I somehow managed.

"Kate you have to leave in an hour okay?" I told Kate as she was sitting on her bed reading a book.

"Okay doc!" She showed me a thumbs up looking up at me from her book. I can tell she was a bit off today. She just wasn't showing, being psychiatrist and stuff.

I sat beside her and she looked at me.

"Are you scared?" We asked each other at the same time and let out a chuckle. But it was gone in seconds.

"You're the one who's life is at stake and you're asking me if I'm scared?" I said.

"Yeah but my life is in your hands. If I die..."

I cut her off by slapping her arm.

"Ouch!" She rubbed the part where I slapped. "You're not supposed to do that. I'm pregnant!"

"Okay fine. I'm leaving. You be there on time." I told her to which she nodded as her hand instantaneously went to her belly, stroking it.

"Everything's gonna be fine." I assured her and she passed me a weak smile.

I parked my car in the parking area and entered the hospital. There were a few 'hello ma'ams' and 'good morning ma'ams' to which I greeted back. I went straight to my cabin and sighed taking a seat on the chair

"A beautiful coffee for a very beautiful lady on this beautiful sunny day!" George exclaimed placing a cup of hot coffee on the table in front of me. He brought a chair beside me and sat on it , holding his own cup of coffee.

"Thanks George!" I picked up my coffee and sighed.

"Are you worrying about the operation?" He asked sipping his coffee to which I nodded.

"You should've known better now. I have seen you work. You know, when you are dealing with a patient you give your 100% to them." He said tapping my knee with his hand.

"Sometimes 100% is not enough." I breathed.

"I'll tell you what you need right now." He paused and then said the exact same thing that Niall told me. "Faith. Have faith in yourself, Jennifer."
