|I'm scared|
The rain was falling for days now. Katie didn't like it. She was happy that there weren't thunder.
Katie was in kitchen when the thunder started.
She jumped at the loud noise. Her heart was beating fast. She didn't like to admit but she was scared of thunder.
Logan walked in kitchen and saw Katie.
She was shaking and had hands covering her ears.
"Katie?", Logan asked softly.
Katie looked up and Logan could see her blue eyes full of tears.
He walked to her.
"What's wrong?", he asked worriedly.
Katie jumped as another crack of thunder echoed through the mansion.
"I...", she started saying but her voice got stuck in her throat.
Logan didn't know what to do. He never had to deal with crying girls.
"Tell me. Please.", Logan pleaded.
Katie let out a shaky breath and nodded.
"I'm scared.", she said avoiding eye contact.
Logan sighed.
"Of what?", he asked.
Katie's cheeks reddened in embarrassment.
"Of thunder.", she said shyly.
Logan smiled at the embarrassed girl.
"It's okay. It's outside. It can't hurt you here.", he said.
Katie jumped again at the sound of thunder.
Logan chuckled and pulled her in hug.
Katie rested her head on his chest and put her arms around his torso.
Logan put his hands around her waist and his head in her hair.
Katie started shaking as thunder roared outside.
Logan was now concerned.
"How about I take you to my room and we can talk? To get your mind of thunder?", Logan asked shyly.
Katie nodded and they walked to his room.
As they were talking, Katie got sleepy and forget all about thunder
She fell asleep on Logan's bed.
Logan smiled at her sleeping form. He covered her with a blanket and laid on a couch in his room. He wouldn't admit it but he was starting to like this girl. She amazed him.
