Battle of the Chapters Book #2 Resistance

Chapter 6

Virginia's P.O.V:

Whelp this is it time to go out of hiding to save Lamia.

I fixed up the go kart last night, couldn't really go home with out getting arrested and dragged back to school for me to die. 

I sat in the cart with everyone else around me, Angel is at the office monitoring the Officer's positions, what he told me they are not armed with deadly weapons since they don't think there will be any idiots trying to stir up something... they were wrong.

Sure enough it worked Angel just said that all of them for some reason went to check on us, I would think that there would be at least 5 to stay at the execution... weird.

Francisco told us in the morning that 5 minutes is all we'll need, you can leave when the 5 minutes are up.

After 5 minutes of driving around and almost getting grabbed off the kart we all scrambled back to the office, they wanted to chase us however I looked back to see one guy shake his head.

After we headed back to the office we just waited to see when they would come back.

Hector's P.O.V:

Well here we go, if we succeed then Lamia is back with us.

I saw Francisco on his phone maybe calling Virginia to explain something...?

Well it didn't matter because he ended the call.

"I told them we are in position and to start the distraction." Francisco told us.

Then suddenly one guard got the call, the principal told everyone to go investigate... seems like the distraction worked.

So we snuck into the crowd, apparently this was a mandatory school event... the principal was making a air-headed speech and talking about not raising a revolt, and making an example or something, there we saw Lamia tied down to an old wooden post.

He then pulled out a gun and took aim at Lamia's head, before he could pull the trigger Francisco ran up and whacked the gun out of his hand.

"A gutsy move boy." the Principal said.

"Well I never claimed to have good ideas." Francisco replied, as the students ran away for their own safety.

"Francisco....?" Lamia asked in disbelief.

"The one and only." Francisco answered, "Also a f**king whipping post...really?" He asked.

"It gets the job done." He said as he tried to reach for his gun, but Francisco picked it up before he did.

"Not so fast there..." Francisco said aiming the gun at his face, "I'm gonna enjoy this..." He added.

He put his index finger around the trigger until a masked person came and knocked it out of his hand.

"Oww." Francisco said grabbing his hand, as he looked at the masked person.

They stare at each other for a few seconds until Francisco pulled out his stick and gripped the base.

He pulled back for a swing and struck at the wooden post freeing Lamia.

"Lamia run!" Francisco yelled as he took a swing at the principal knocking him out which ended with a hard punch to face from the masked person.

"Oww you hit hard." Francisco said punching the person in the gut causing him/her to kneel to the ground.

"Whelp see ya!" Francisco yelled as he bolted just before the security returned.

Lamia's P.O.V

I expected to get murdered by instead I got saved by Francisco of all people I thought he would never come back...

Well that doesn't matter what does matter is that I am now running for my life with Star and Hector, Francisco stayed behind to buy us some time.

After we got there and waited a few minutes Francisco came into the office.

"Okay managed to lose them, this school is like a maze." Francisco said.

So everyone was talking and sharing stories of a job well done.

I however saw Francisco slip out to the front part of the office...I followed him there.

When I got there he had just finished a call it seemed like, when he finished he turned and saw me.

"Oh hey Lamia how you doing?" He asked.

"Why did you come back...You said you would not come back..." I said as he sighed.

"You know a thank you would be nice honey." He said

"Don't mess with me tell me why you came back?" I asked more louder than last time, I am almost certain the others heard me.

"Because you were about to get yourself killed, and I wasn't going to stand back and let that happen, and I thought you had a brain inside that skull of yours." He said tapping my left temple.

"Is that the only reason?" I ask calming down, he waited a moment before answering.

"Yes...but now there is a new reason, I'll explain later, but for now enjoy the fact that I saved your a** again and have fun." He said as I sighed.

"You know I'm going to find out what you are planning right?" I ask as he nodded.

"It will probably be too late by then..." He said as I walk out of the room, a weird one that Francisco is.

"Fine...just promise me, promise me you won't do anything that will get you killed." I asked.

"...promise." Francisco said.

I didn't believe him, so I extended my Pinky finger.

He extended his and we locked in a pinky swear.

*Lan's P.O.V:*

The party lasted a couple of hours, then that one guy Francisco came back in and flickered the lights on and off to get our attention.

"Okay great now that we celebrated Lamia's safe return... time to finish this thing once and for all." Francisco said as we all started mumbling amoungst ourselves... he wants to end this now...how is he going to do that? 

"Well Lan was it?, I'll tell ya, see when the rescue happened I attacked the Principal of Independence, in fact I almost killed him on the spot, until a masked person came up and stopped me." He said.

"Wait a masked person, that person saved us when we kidnapped the ASB." Mireya said out loud.

"Wait you guys kidnapped ASB?!" Francisco said shocked, and we all fell silent.

"I'm so...PROUD OF ALL OF YOU!!!" He screamed in excitement, "I wanted to get those f**kers the moment I saw them." Francisco said.

"Wait... is the Independence ASB President still alive?" He asked as we nodded, "Okay great keep her alive for me k?" He said... I'll be honest I was suspicious as to what he wanted to do...

"Alright enough of that... time for the plan of action." He continued before we could say anything else

"So after that stupid attempt of killing a student publicly, he's probably going to hide away in his office, so that's when we will attack." Francisco stated.

"With that in mind though, it's probably going to be filled to the brim with security...and a distraction is probably not going to work." He added.

"So what now?" I ask out loud.

"Well here is an idea...how about a huge riot?" Lamia asked.

"Hmm... that could work it has to be massive though." Francisco said.

"We can get everyone to do it the day of the attack." Hector and Adriana said.

"Okay then this could work, alright everyone prepare yourselves mentally and physically this attack is happening on Friday." Francisco said getting off the stage.

Wait Friday that's two days from now...talk about sudden.

Oh well I guess that can't be helped, after that impromptu meeting was over I went home.
