It was now September 14, I decided to tell Lenny the truth. I can't go on with this. I'm in love with another man. Lenny deserves to know. Right then when I was going to tell him, he kissed me and went to work. "Why the fuck didn't I just tell him before goddammit?!" I thought.
This is so stressful. Later that day I wanted to get my hair done. Kiki is a hairstylist. I drove to the hotel she stayed to. My hair isn't the easiest. I have thick, red and curly hair. I love being a ginger. I get my hair color from my father who is Irish.
It took Kiki two hours to finish. I say must say it was worth the wait. She can style hair so well, but not a makeup master like me. I'm so thankful to have her as a sister.
Moments later, I told Kiki what I needed to tell Lenny. I began to cry my eyes out not able to breathe. I just have no idea what may happen. What will he say? I just can't be with someone I'm no longer in love with. I refuse to pretend any longer.
I honestly just want us to be friends and not enemies. That's all. Later that day, Khalid called me. He makes my day. We talked for hours.
He said he wants to meet up for a few hours. So I drove to the location where he wanted to meet him, and there he was just so dashing. It's hard not to look at him.
He walked to my car door and opened it, took me by the hand and I came out. He greeted me with a kiss and said,"Hello sweetheart. How are you? I missed you so much babe." Then he kissed me again. He's so caring. He suggest that we go to a certain hotel right now. "NO! Anything but that hotel! Lenny works there!" I yelled. Lenny works on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Khalid laughed. "Okay sweetie. My house?" He asked smiling. I smiled and nod my head yes. About an hour later we finally made it to his place. "What now you want more sex?" I asked with a smirk. Khalid frowned. "Vicky now you think I'm all about just fucking you? This is what I was avoiding. Making you think I'm just some guy who wants sex. Maybe you should go." I said furiously.
I stood up and stroked his beard. I apologized to him. "I'm sorry hun. I was only joking that's all. Don't you think I know you love me? It's okay." I said to him trying to calm him down.
"Vicky you're amazing and I just wanted to hold you and watch a movie." He said. I smiled then gave him a kiss on his sweet lips.
Moments later I found myself being held and watching a movie with Khalid.
The way he holds me is different. He's so romantic. I really love this man. It was midnight and I was still here. When I awoke, I jumped up and told Khalid I must go immediately. We kissed then I left. I arrived home a bit later, Lenny of course was waiting for me.
I began to shake and no,not the good type of shaking like the one Khalid makes me do. Lenny then asks,"Where the fuck were you? I worried something happened to you, worried sick! You wouldn't even answer your phone."
I lied and I felt so bad lying. After I lied I told him I just wanted to sleep. I got in bed then the thought hit me. What if he asks why do I smell like Khalid? I then got out of bed and took a quick shower so Lenny wouldn't smell me. Swear that man has a nose of a dog.
The next morning, I wanted to tell Lenny but he was already gone and then I threw a tantrum. Then Jojo came to me. "Are y'all getting a divorce yet? Should we buy or build a new house? Or are you moving in with Khalid?" She asked.
I stared at her and laughed. "Jojo, Khalid said that if I were to move in with him you and Kiki can live with us. He's nice and understanding you know." she's my best friend and Kiki is my sister there ain't no way in hell I'm letting a man come between us. Not even Khalid.
That night Lenny got home. I told him to have a seat we need to talk. When I told him everything he just stared. "Say something please." I said trembling. He yelled at me and even tried to hurt me. I'm no fighter, but Kiki is. I even had to hold her back. Then came Jojo. I love them, but they need control.
