My heart was pounding against my chest. I could feel it trying to make it's way down to my stomach. I could hear my heavy breathing. At this moment I couldn't even scream. My voice gave out on me.

"Dad?!" My whispers barely came out. Blood was scattered all over the floor, His bloody hand prints were all over the cream colored walls. I could hear my sister Veronica, calling for my name. I walked all over the house, seeing no used knife, but it was clear that he was stabbed to death.

"Nina! What are you doing-" I turned around to look at Veronica. My eyes were filled with tears so my vision was blurry. I heard her bag slam against the ground. Then came her screams.

----

"That's all I know officer." I looked around the plain room. My arms were laying on the cold metal table, as I was forced to sit down on the uncomfortable chair for questioning.

"Would you like to explain why there were no traces of suspicious foot prints or finger prints?"

"HOW WOULD I KNOW? FOR THE LAST TIME I WAS NOT HOME!"

The officer walked up to me and stared into my eyes.

"Alright. We're done with questioning."

I glared at him and quickly got out of the seat. I vigorously pushed the chair against the wall and walked out of the room. As I walked out, I rubbed my eyes since it was darker in the other room.

I saw my mother crying. She was standing next to Veronica.

"What did they ask you?" Veronica ran up to me, sounding concerned.

"Stupid shit I couldn't even answer-"

"Veronica Lodge?"

"That's me." She raised her hand up but only a little bit. Her voice became quiet.

"We need to ask you some questions." The officer that pulled me in for questioning, brought her into the room.

"Good luck." I said under my breath.

I took a deep breath as I looked over to my mother. I walked over to her, giving her a huge hug. She started to cry even more.

"Shh. It's tough I know. We're all breaking." For a minute it was just me listening to her cries.

"We have to leave this place." I let go of the hug and gave her a confused look. She looked at me in the most serious face she's ever given me.

"W-what?"

"Honey, your father just died here. Do you really want to stay here?" She put her hand on my arm and bent down a little to look directly into my eyes.

There was a pause for a minute. I continued to look into her eyes as I thought about what she said.

"Where are we gonna go?"

"Riverdale."
