I’m pretty sure by the time I finish this story my whole class will be in it And I’m bored out of my mind and I think I have strep D: And I’m sooooooo tired. But anyways a girl I know Named Kamillia wanted me to add her in my story so I will. If I may quote her
Her “Yea, like I want to be someone really pretty. Oh and who’s the main character?”
Me “Damon and Scarlett.”
Her “Can I date the main character?”
Me “Yea, no. Scarlett and Damon are soul mates.”
Her “well can I date him then he can find out how horrible I am-“
Me “ like in real life.”

“And the answer would be… Anyone?”
He was about to right the steps and answer on the board when I said
“The answer is 4.”
He turned around to look at me then said
“And how did you figure that out?”
“Would you really like me to tell you all the steps of how I got to 4?”
“Yes, and you could write it up on the board too?”
I sighed and walked down the steps and to the board. Mr. James Freeman handed me the white board pen. After I finished I took a step back to look at my work.
If 5-4i is a zero, then 5+4i is also a zero. Use the factor theorem to convert these two zeros into factors: (x - 5 + 4i) (x - 5 - 4i)
Multiply these two factors together:
x^2 - 10x + 41
Divide the original function by the product of the two known factors:
(x^4-16x^3+94x^2-176x-287) / (x^2 - 10x + 41) = x^2 - 6x - 7
Factor this reduced quadratic:
(x - 7) (x + 1)
So altogether, x^4-16x^3+94x^2-176x-287 =
(x - 5 + 4i) (x - 5 - 4i) (x - 7) (x + 1) there for the answer is 4.
I nodded and walked back to my seat at the back of the class. Sitting next to my two best friends Brittany and Sarah.
“That’s correct Mrs?”
“Scott.”
Then first period ended. I practically jumped out of my seat running out of the door. I heard Mr. James Freeman call out my name. But I just ignored him. I was Majoring in English and my English class started two minutes after my Calculus class. We also had a new English teacher named Mr. Sheppard. I glanced down at my watch. Shoot, I was definitely going to be late. Just as I heard the clock ding 10:35. I Sprinted the rest of the yard and practically jumped into the classroom panting. I could feel all eyes on me. Blushing I walked up the steps to the second to last row at the top and took a seat. As soon as I caught me breath and opened my book to the page that was written on the board. The handsomest guy walked in ever. I met his gaze. He had light brown hair and bright green eyes. I tore my gaze away from his and looked down at my book that was opened to the Middle ages. My favorite era.
“Good morning class my name is Mr. Sheppard.”
My head snapped up to see the same man before say those words. I had a totally hot English teacher.
