I watch Jace as he reads something off his phone he looks like he's read it over and over again and each time it's making a little more sense,he looks so concentrated and hasn't took his eyes off it for at least five minutes he hasn't even moved the little strands of hair out of his face which actually worries me
"What you lookin at?"I ask sitting down next to him he instantly puts his phone screen to his chest jumping a little but then just shrugs "it was nothing"he mutters I put my head on his shoulder and raise my eyebrows "it was obviously something J"I mumble flickering my eyelashes "tell me"I mumble he shakes his head and looks over at Jude "what you doing buddy?"he says standing up and making me fall onto the couch "I'll find out"I whisper he turns around and rolls his eyes bending down to Jude and just playing with him

I throw my phone next to me on the couch and just look up at the tv screen,Jude is in bed and Jace is at work so I only have myself for company which isn't good because I can't stop thinking about what's upsetting Jace and why he won't tell me,I jump up when I hear a nock on the door I walk out of the living room and go to the door I open it and find Riele "hi Riele you okay?"I ask as she just walks straight in ignoring me she looks around and then turns around looking at me
"Where's Jace?"she asks and looks like she's panicking a little "he's at work"I tell her "he's on a talk show or something"I shrug shutting the door "ugh but I need him"she groans and walks into the living room sitting down on the couch "what for?"I ask sitting next to her "well this girl has been basically stalking me and Jace"she starts,I don't get stalkers there so strange but I guess if your that obsessed with someone you kinda turn into one "and well she's been asking me things about Jace you know like really personal stuff?"she asks me I nod chewing my lip
"And then Max was on my phone and well he thought it was a friend and gave her his number about 3 days ago"she mutters and three days ago was when Jace started to act all weird and secretive "oh god"I mutter  she gives me a confused look "what?"she asks I just shake my head as the door opens again,we both hear Jace sigh and both stay silent,he walks into the living room jumping a little when he sees us both sitting there "I'm so so sorry"Riele says looking down at the floor with her back to him
"What for?"Jace asks sitting on the opposite couch and chewing his lip "it's my fault that girl has your number"she says turning around and facing him he just looks at her he looks annoyed but more upset "look I'm gonna go"Riele says keeping her eyes on the floor and walking out of them room I chew my lip and just watch Jace his head in his hands the front door shuts and then I hear him start to cry "Jace"I exclaim literally running over to him and pulling him into a hug his tears going onto my shirt
"Why would she do that?"he mutters his arms wrapping around me as tight as possible "I'm sure she didn't mean it J"I whisper my chin resting on his shoulder I don't know what to say but I do know that I hate seeing him like this Jace honestly deserves all the happiness in the world because he makes every else so so happy and it kills me to see him cry,he looks up at me with eyes filled with tears his brown eyes slowly going darker "look J,she told me about however this stalker is and she told me about how the girl got your number but we can sort this out"he interrupts me looking at me like I'm stupid "how though"he mumbles he sighs shutting his eyes he rests his head on my lap and puts his legs up
"Well I have a plan"I mutter starting to play with his newly cut hair,I go to carry on but hear footsteps coming down the stairs "it'll be fine"I whisper and kiss his temple let's just hope I'm not lying
