Here I am sitting in this locked up room as always. Ever since July 16th 2013, my life was forever changed.

Flashback

"Mom! I'm fine leave me alone now!" I said as I screamed to my overly protective mother. "No you're not! You haven't eaten in over 3 days! And you really expect me to not say anything?" My mother angrily yelled. "That's it. We're going to the doctor right now."

As we drove in the car everything was still, with the tension building with every minute passing. We finally reached the most dreaded place I can ever imagine going - The Doctor. I immediately walked out the car, slammed the door and stormed into the doctor's office with all eyes on me.

"Heaven King?" The receptionist called out. I angrily looked up. "The doctor is ready to see you. "

My mother and I walked into the doctors room being greeted by this young aged doctor. "Nice to meet you Heaven." My doctor greeted. "What seems to be the problem?" I looked over at my mother hoping and praying that she would explain to him.

"Well, As her mother I'm really concerned in her health." My mother calmly stated. " See doctor she hasn't eaten in over 3 days , now going on 4."

The doctor looked at me and silently and shaked his head in disbelief. "Is this true Heaven?" he calmly asked. I just shook my head. My doctor gently rolled up my sleeves and uncovered my hidden marks. My self -harming history was now uncovered in 2.5 seconds. Now I'm doomed. My doctor simply told my mother to leave the room for a little while.

"Heaven. How long have you been self harming?" he asked. "Next month makes it 3 years." I sadly stated. I wasn't sad at the fact that I was caught, I was sad at future consequences I may receive. He them asked me if I was - Bulimic. I shaked my head yes. Then I was asked to step outside and my mother and doctor had a little conference.

Once again the car drive was silent, but the silence was killing. As we reached the drive way my mom simply told me to stay. I will never forget those 6 words,"You're going to a mental institute."
