This is the Glove. At least, that's what everyone calls it. The teachers cope with it, by saying that a glove protects the hand, and keeps it warm. That's true, but there is a hand besides the citizens-Lord Hans. He's the king of Dynton. Though almost everyone calls the government 'The Glove', few calls Hans 'The Hand'. It's year 3015, 1000 years from when World War III began. The German rebel leader Hansel ended the war by 2985, and began his reign as King of the World. When he died in 3009, his son, Hans II took over. He continued his father's legacy, doing the same exact thing. It sickens me.
Of course, there was a small group of students in Dynton Academy. They were friends, and, however unusual it may be that a strange, dictator-like lord like the Hand was fine with 'friendship', they got into trouble multiple times. The first was a boy named Julio. The second was a girl named Raline. And the last two were twins-James and Jenna. Nobody had a last name, not since the Unity Declaration of 3004. They thought that last names would seperate the citizens from each other.
That's why the four hated the Glove. It was a scary thing, not knowing your own last name. But what was the point of learning? You'd be executed. But such is the price of equality.
