Chasing Cambridge

The Visit

Cambridge's p.o.v.
I wake up groggy and I can barely remember what happened that got me in this hospital room. Nash and Kenzie are asleep in the provided cots and chairs provided. "Ugh what... what's going on??" Nash jumps out of his chair fast it looks like he's flying.

        "Cam oh God we thought we were going to lose you. What happened to you we were so worried?" I look into his bright blue eyes and shake my head. "I'm going to tell everyone at once I'll tell you first in private but not now I just want to relax it was a really bad day for me yesterday. And I want to see Remy and the guys too. I really need to have some normal after that." I look into his eyes sadly pleading.

          "Please Nash I really need this." He may be 6 months younger than me but he's always been like an older brother to me. He's a little overprotective of Kenz and I.

          "Fine but I want you to spill your guts later, deal?" I nod weakly. He leans in and kisses my forehead. "I'm gonna go get everyone. Shawn and Hayes don't know anything yet so they aren't here. Shawn was a wreck. But we were scared of what to say to them and told them to stay home." Nodding I tell him I understand. Shawn and Hayes tend to be worse the Nash in the overprotective department. I hate the way I left things with Shawn but he did cheat. I want to give a second chance but I'm scared to.

Remy is the first to walk in I'm thrilled to have her and Mackenzie in the room with me. Kenz and I grew up together and about four years ago when the Jacks met Gilinsky brought little sis Remy along and Kenzi and I instantly clicked with her. Ever since we have been inseparable. Luckily the Gilinsky family moved to L.A. to be near and support Jack so we could always be close. "Rem.. I've missed you. I can't believe you're back from New York."

"Babe you know I would do anything for you. The second Jack told me what was going on I hopped a flight. Nash tells me you're going to tell him them everyone all at once what happened. May I ask why him and not your two best friends?"

"He's involved in a way he doesn't know. It's not his fault in the least. But he is the center of why. I feel awful but I don't know how to tell him without upsetting him." I lay back with her and Kenz sitting on either side of me leaning on their elbows. "Let's bring those boys in. They're probably a little freaked out."

Remy snorts and Kenzie laughs out. "That's an understatement!!!" They say laughing. Everyone comes in and we have hours of fun. Well what fun you can get in a hospital room without popping a stitch.

After my visit with my family. I have to get the room alone with Nash and he isn't going to like it at all.
