Mission Freaking Impossible

Mackenzie's P.O.V.
So night time rolled around and Skylynn has finally gone to sleep. I can finally try to steal Cambridge's phone. All I have to do is sneak into her room. Should be easy enough, right? WRONG!!! This mission was way more difficult than I realized it was going to be. So many obstacles that I hadn't even considered. Obstacle number one mom. She was out of her room going to the bathroom when I came out. I claimed I needed a midnight snack. She continued on. Two Nash he really was getting a midnight snack. I ended up getting a snack and talking to him.

            "Hey are you alright? You didn't really talk much after you came from Cambridge's room." I look at him staring down at his cereal. He looks heartbroken.

             When he finally looks up at me I know he's feeling bad. "She knew something was off with Kostia. But because she loved me she let it slide. She said seeing Kostia making me happy was better than telling me what was really going on. I think she's hiding something from us Mack. I really do." I look up from my yoplait Greek cherry yogurt. That's when I divulge my plan. He hesitates at first. But what he says next surprises me. "Fine but you have to wait until I'm with you to go through it. It felt off like something was bothering her but she's so stubborn and doesn't want to 'inconvenience' anyone." I shake on it and we go our separate ways. That obstacle I guess was more of a detour.

                Finally I get to Cam's bedroom. Enter obstacle number twoish three. Shawn managed to sneak in and is sleeping next to her. They really are a cute couple. He really didn't sneak over I mean we are all adults but we always try to not have our significant others sleep over when mom and dad are here. You know avoid awkward moments as much as you can. But I guess with what's happened to her she just needed him near her. That I can totally understand. I quietly go over to her phone when I go to grab it a hand grabs my arm nearly forcing a scream out of me. I look and Shawn gives me a what are you doing look. I put a finger over my mouth telling him to shush. I pull out my own phone and type out what and why I'm doing. He gives me a look that somewhat tells me ok. He rolls back over and pulls Cam into his chest.

                  When I finally get out of the room I sigh in relief. I'm mean that could have gone wrong since he was in there but I have a feeling he's going to want to be there when Nash and I go through the phone. I also have the feeling what we are about to find is not going to be good. How much has my sister been hiding from us.
