I'd known him since the day they brought him home, since the day we both seen the light, since the day we made the strongest friend pact known to man, but never had I thought he would be him. We both agreed that when we got our markings that we would show each other when we were older, but right now seemed like the perfect time. Solemn we were, but when we both revealed what they were, the room had grown silent. My exact first words to him written in bold black writing brought back flooding memories of us as kids, bringing my eyes to water. He had been the one, Vylad Ro'meave was my soulmate, but I hadn't found out until now. Silence made the room stand still, nothing moving or breathing. Then he broke the silence by.....laughing?
"What's so funny?" I asked him, his laughs coming to a slow.
"I always wondered why my markings sounded like something a kid would say" we both started another fit of laughter, but then it happened again. Silence.
"Uh...Vylad?" He faced me, a serious look on his face.
"Yeah?" I blushed at what I was about to say. It would be so childish.
"W-Wanna play?" We looked into each other's eyes, my heart beating a mile a minute. He grabbed me into a hug, the next words he would speak right in his tongue.
"I would love to play!" He let go afterwards, grabbing my chin and leading me into a passionate kiss.
