'Hey we should get going...' 'No, let's let her rest a bit more' 'oh really, do you want her to die?' 'What? Die from over resting?''No look up, sweetheart.' 'Oh... yep let's wake her up!!'

I heard voices speaking what seemed like right in front of me. I yawned and looked up at what they were talking about, I might as well look to see what they were worrying about. I opened my eyes and saw that a panel looked just about to snap. My eyes shot wide open and quickly leaped out of the way. I looked behind me just in time to see the panel crash down, kicking up dust. I coughed, or at least tried to, I was still a bit tired to really do anything. I got up on my feet and looked around to get my bearings. I then saw some steps and walked up them and around a corner.

"Hey! There you are! I knew you'd be ok, now go over to that pedestal over there and try and find that portal gun!" I heard the British robot say. I pointed at him and shrugged my shoulders, as if to say "What's your name?" For I had forgotten his name. He seemed to get it and told me his name was Wheatley. I smiled at him and gave him a thumbs up. He nodded and told me to go over to the pedestal again. I turned to look over in the direction he nodded to, but all I saw was some sort of handle type thing. I slightly cocked my head to the side in confusion.

I stepped a bit closer to the middle, until I heard some creaking. I stopped immediately and looked down, seeing that the ground was softly caved inwards from my weight. 'Now I know it seems dangerous, but you need to do it. You want get hurt, promise.' I wanted to belive it, but the only thing flooding my mind are situations where I fall and fall and fall. I shivered at the thought but walked forward again, making the floor creak yet again.

I stepped closer and closer to the stand, only to be greeted by more creaks and groans by the floor. I saw that the stand was shooting sparks, and it was missing something very important. The portal gun. As I knew it wasn't there I turned around to bolt out of there before the ground gave way. 'Stop running! It'll only make it worse!' 'C'mon! Run! You don't want to fall down do you?!?' The voices yelled and I didn't know what to do. I really didn't want to fall, but if it made it worse I might as well fall anyway. I stopped and let the ground give way. I squealed as I fell down a dark, rusty abyss. I felt something crack as I landed. I immediately felt pain in my lower leg. Wait. Lower leg? I looked down and saw that I had landed on my leg braces. I sighed in relief, forgetting about the pain for a split second. Until the warm liquid running down my leg had registered in my brain. I cringed at the pain and saw that a small, sharp metal panel  piece had found a bloody warm home, buried in my leg. I cried out in pain. And sat down. I noticed that there was water layering the floor. I clutched my leg to try and stop the bleeding, just a bit at least. 'IF YOU WOULD'VE STOPPED RUNNING IN THE FIRST PLACE THIS WOULDN'T HAVE HAPPENED!!!' I heard it yell. 'WELL IT'S NOT HER FAULT THAT YOU MADE HER STOP RIGHT ABOVE SHARP METAL!' I heard the other protest. '...' I guess that it couldn't find a good comeback. I chuckled and got to my feet, hissing in pain.

I reached down and touched the bloodied metal. I gripped a corner that wasn't slick with blood yet. I took a deep breath and quickly pulled the object out of my limb. I screamed in pain, well sort of screamed, it came out sort of sounding like a squeal.

"Oi! Do you see the portal gun? Are you alive? That's more important, I probably should've asked that first." Yeah, Wheatley, I think I'm more important than a 'gun'. I scowled up at what I figured was the direction that he was in. I saw light out of the corner of my eye and turned my head towards it. I saw what looked like a ramp of some kind and I started to walk, well more like limp, towards it. I saw pictures and paintings on some of the walls. They looked like it was made with some time on someone's hands. I walked all the way up the ramp and found a blue glowing metal gun looking thing. 'Is this the portal gun that he was talking about?' I thought. I picked it up and examining it while rolling it in my hands. 'Huh, this looks pretty badass!' I yelled in my head. I put my right hand in the pocket that was in the back of the device.
