Chapter 1: Unfair

Abbey Pov;
Its Sunday which means I have school tomorrow, I sighed at the thought it's another day getting bullied by Martha. I get pulled out of my thoughts when my Grammy knocks on the door then opens it.

" Hey deer, how ya feeling? " Gram asks, I give her a fake smile and replied to her question.

" I'm doing great gram.  Um is it ok if I go to the store later? " I answered then asked my question, she smiled and grabbed my hand and put it in the middle of her hands.

" Yes, but if you see that girl let me know. Just because I'm old doesn't mean I can't kick her butt " My gram says. The last part made me laugh, oh do I ever love my gram.

" Thanks, um do u have like fifteen dollars by any chance cause I'm short by fifteen to get what I want. " I say adding a smile, gram smiled back and got up. She left my room and only a few moments later she came back handing me a twenty dollar bill. My eyes widen.

" Sweetie, I know u asked for fifteen but your my pumpkin pie so, you got extra. " Gram says smiling, I get up and hug her.

" Thanks Grammy " I say pulling away from the hug, she patted my back and said.

" Your welcome, now go get something at the store " Gram said smiling. I nod my head and walk down the hall to the front door, I didn't notice but gram followed me. " Stay safe " she says before I leave the house closing the door. I start to walk to the store and thought about what I wanted.

Devens pov;

Collins and I put the last two boxes in the back of the car, Mom walks out and kinda smiled.

" kids I'm sorry. It's just your guys dad and I- " Mom started but Collins stoped her and said. 

" Mom it's ok, we understand. Right Deven " Collins said and I smiled

" Yup, no matter what choices you make mom I will always love you and follow you " I say, mom almost started to cry. She pulled us into a hug. Mom pulled away and wiped the tear running down her face. 

" Well boys let's get on the road " mom said getting in the front seat. I beat Collins to the passenger seat so he has to sit in the back. Along the way I pulled out my phone and snapped a photo on snapchat tagged
' Moving Day ' I sigh realizing that I'm going to a new school which means new friends.

    Abbeys pov:

Half way there I find myself in a situation, Martha is near by talking to her friends but when she sees me she smirked. She ran over to me followed by her friends.

" Oh hey Loser, going home to see your mom and dad.  OH WAIT you don't have a mom or dad anymore. " Martha said causing me to want to punch her but I don't I turn away and start to walk. That did no good she just followed me.
" Listen loser I need you to do something for me " She said and I stoped walking and turned to face her.

" What " I say not giving a crap, she smiled then looked back at her friends   

" I need to you to get hit by a car and die just like your parents so I don't have to look at your stupid, annoying, ugly face anymore "  After she said that I felt both anger and sadness. The words that came out of my mouth next I didn't mean to say.

" Well at least I don't whine to daddy to buy me these new shoes, clothes, makeup and other stuff so I can look good for Mr.James " I say then cover my mouth, her friends gasped and so did she. Martha grabbed me by the shirt to pinned me to the floor.

" Oh, Abbey your going to regret saying that to me you stupid little loser that no one likes. I hope you cut yourself to the point you die cause no one give a crap if your gone. Your stupid, ugly, fat, poor and for god shakes at least I date guys unlike you " Martha said then slapped me across the face. She let go of me and left, as I watched them leave her friends gave her high fives. I feel tears come but I hold them back, I got up and headed to the store once again.

Devans pov;
We park in the driveway of our new house, we were in the middle of two houses. We all got out and got the boxes and took them inside.

- Few Minutes Later -
" There that's the last box mom " I say putting the box down. She smiled and hugged me which I gladly hugged her back. We pull from the hug when we hear I knock at the door my mom and I both walked over, when mom opened the door we see an older women maybe 60's 70's I don't know.

" Hello what could I do for you? " Mom asks and the women smiles.

" Well, you guys are new here so I decided to come and say hi " the women said then looked at me
" Is this your son? " the women asks smiling which I smile back at her.

" Ya this is Devan and I have another son. Collins but he is unpacking some stuff for me. I'm Lisa ( don't know his mothers name so for now it's Lisa ) by the way. " my mom said. The women smiled

" Well I'm Debby and I have a granddaughter living with me her name is Abbey. You guys should come over for a welcoming super. " Debby says and when she mentioned this Abbey girl I wondered what she looked like.

" Well Debby you'll be seeing us for super and thanks for offering "mom says shaking Debby's hand, Debby gave me a wave goodbye and I did the same.
" She seems nice " mom said smiling at me and I nod my head yes to agree with her.  She walked away and all I could think about is who this Abbey is. 

Abbey pov;
I opened the front door but before walking in I notice a car next door. I guess someone moved into there knowing my gram she went over there and talked to them. I step inside and close the door behind me, I bought chips, pop and candy. Gram walked over to me and smiled, she passed me a piece of paper of the map layout of this place. I raise an eyebrow.

" it's for the neighbour next door, mind giving it to them. " gram said, in my head I sigh but in reality I smile and agree to give it to them. I left the house going next door. I knocked on the door and a few seconds later the door opened revelling a really cute guy.

" U-uh my Gram t-told m-m-me to give this to y-you " I feel my face warm up because of how embarrassing I was being. He smiled and got it from me.

" Thanks and by any chance is your name Abbey? " he said which make my eyes widen. Why dose he know my name????

" Ya.. how do you know my name? " I say getting creeped out. He laughed then smiled. 

" Your Grandmother came over and invited us over for dinner plus she mentioned you. " He said and I smiled and so did he. I waved to him slowly walking away but I heard him mumble.
" Thank god she did " I felt my face warm up so I ran back to the house. When I got inside I went upstairs, peeked into my grams room and she's laying there reading. I went into my room and decided to watch ' suicde squad ' and eat my chips well I wait for the dinner to start. All I could think about was that boy.
