"Mom" I heard Evanna say.

Why is he here? Why is he in NY with her, out of all the places he can be he decides to be at the dinner I work at. What kind of sick game is he playing.

"Mom!" Evanna yells.

"What is it" I asked never turning away from the road.

"What's wrong, you look like you seen a ghost" she says worriedly.

If she only knew her father is in NY.

"Nothing just tired from work" I simply reply as I killed the ignition. I looked to see if he was around and he still there in the stupid table. How long does he plan on staying.

I got out of my car and walked to the other side where Evanna was getting off. I grabbed her hand and tried my best to hide her. It worked he didn't turned our way. All just left is to pass the entre and make it safely in the kitchen.

I opened the door letting Evanna walk in first and she instantly runs in the kitchen giving Edwin a big hug.

"I missed you too dad" I heard Evanna say. Yes she calls Edwin dad. He's always been there for me and her since she was 3. I'm glad I met a guy like Edwin when I first started working here.

We are secretly dating and she has no idea.

"Mom" I heard Evanna called out for me. Once those words left her mouth Cole instantly looks up in my direction. I roll my eyes at him and walk in the kitchen.

"Yes?" I asked looking at Evanna who had a grin on her face.

"Are you and Edwin dating" she says excitedly.

"You told her ?" I gaped at him and he winks as his response.

"Yes" I admit and Evanna screams in joy hugging me and Edwin.

"When's the wedding" she asks with a grin on her face.

Me and Edwin laugh, "Soon"

Another scream of joy came out of Evanna's mouth.

Her screams were interupted by someone clearing their throat and our head snapped towards the door where Cole was.

"Yes" I say trying not to sound rude.

"I um" he cleared his throat again his eyes roaming between me and Evanna. "The payment for the meal".

"Yeah I'll be there in a minute" he nodded and walks away. I turned to Evanna who had a puzzled look but that soon vanished as she turns to Edwin talking about how school was.

I walked out of the kitchen and walked Infront of the counter where Cole was but no sign of Crystal.

"That be $20.54"

He nodded and hands me 50, I mentally rolled my eyes and shoved the money in the cashier and handed him his change. I walked away but stopped when he called out for.

"Avianna please" he sounded desperate. Why? He has that stupid whore.

I didn't turned around, "Leave, I'm happy, she's happy, so please just leave and don't come back"

"Can you just let me expl-"

I interupted him, "explain what? That you slept with your ex in our fucking bed in MY house that I bought with my own money while you had a daughter " I scoffed, "please I'm over it, I've moved on"

"Can I just see my daughter" he pleaded.

"She's not your daughter, you weren't even there when I was giving birth to her" I stopped taking a deep breath, "She has a dad and it's not you" I glared hard at him.

"I raised her, she's my daughter" he argued.

I laughed, "you mean I did, while you were out drinking I was the one doing everything!" I yelled at him, "I worked my ass off while I was pregnant, I raised her, Liam and his boyfriend raised her, Erika raised her. But you, you didn't do shit but just drink!" By now I was fuming with anger I didn't want to see his face anymore.

He took a step forwards but I stopped him, "take one step and I swear I'll call the cops"

"I've changed" he sneered.

"Change my ass" I mumbled.

"What's going on" I heard Edwin say behind me, I turned my head seeing a worried Evanna and a pissed Edwin.

"Nothing, he was just leaving" I glared at Cole.

"I'll be back" with that he walked out of the dinner. I let out a sigh of relief.

I turned around with a smile on my face, " So who wants to go on vacation?"
