★ Chapter 17 ★

Jinhee's POV

"Help us!" I yelled on top of my lungs and kept looking around.

"Jinhee, just rest. Your voice might not come out tommorow.." Jungkook said worriedly and i ran my fingers through my hair in furstration.

"This is all my fault! Im so sorry Jungkook..." i speak up and began to tear up. If I'm not clumsy, this shouldn't happen by now. Gosh, i hate myself. "Jinhee, it's not your fault.." he said and caressed my back. "Wait, your not angry with me?" I asked him while sniffing.

"Nope, im not.." he said and pulled my wrist. I landed on his chest and he hugged me. He made me comfortable and my body feels so warm. I stopped crying and he wiped my tears gently. "Don't worry Jinhee, we will escape in here soon.." he said. I was shocked when he kissed my forehead. Blood were running through my cheeks and flushed crimson red.

I pursed my lips when suddenly, a tiny drop of water landed on to my cheeks. I looked above and the sky turns grey.

"It's gonna rain soon.." i said and broke the hug. Jungkook looked up and stared at me. "We need to find a shelter." He said and picked up his backpack. "But where?" I asked and he sighed. "I don't know.." he replied.

Suddenly, a thing caught into my eyes. I saw tons of vines 10 meters away from me. "Hm, maybe there's a secret cave down here?" I said while pointing at the vines. "Yeah, your right. Maybe..." he said. The sky roared and i flinched.

I hate thunder roars.

"Are you afraid of thunder?" He asked me and i nodded.

We both go near to the huge vines. I swiped the vine and saw a small cave. "A cave Jungkook! A cave!" I shouted and go in. "Now, we have a shelter. What about food?" He asked while putting down his backpack. "Hm, maybe there's a crab or fish in the lake?" I said and his eyes widen.

"Yep, you're right! Stay here, ill gather some food. I'll be right back." He said and almost left but my hand caught his wrist. "Can i help?" I asked amd he sighed. "No, Jinhee. Stay here, it's gonna rain soon. You might get a fever." He said and carefully took my hands away.

"But i wanna help!" I yelled at him and he stopped. "Jinhee, no. I said stay in there..this is my responsibility." He said and left.

Really Jungkook? I really wanna help but i guess, im not alowed to. What should i do now? Hm, i should make a blanket or something. Aha! Ill use a vine and weave it into huge blankets since i have nothing to do.

I pulled out a few vines and started to make a blanket. Im not really professional in these kind of things but i hope it will turn out pretty well and comfy for us to sleep.

A few hours later...

"Shitue, it's raining.." i cursed and the blankes i made was succesfully done. I placed it on to the ground and arranged it properly. I moved our backpacks at the corner. "Good thing, i brought extra clothes.." i said suddenly, the thunder roared again but this time, it's so freaking loud.

Now im starting to get worried of Jungkook.

I took a peek and i didn't saw Jungkook. I began to panic. I bit my bottom lip and started to tear up. "Jungkook!?" I shouted and the thunder roared again. I startled and move to the corner of the room. I hugged my knees and cried.

"Jungkook where are you?" I whispered to myself. I need to help him. I need to find him. He's my friend...

I crawled outside and stood up. My body feels wet and cold. I can't see things clearly because of the heavy rain. "Jungkook!" I shouted and suddenly,  i heard him.

"Jinhee! Im coming! Go back inside!" He shouted back but i didn't obey him. I continued to search him. "Where are you?!" I shouted and he immediately answered. "Im almost at the cave! Go back Jinhee! It's not safe!"

I obeyed him and turned back suddenly, i didn't saw the cave anymore. I panicked and looked around. I stepped backwards and suddenly, i feel cold water through my legs.

Im in the river..

I don't know how to swim. I hate deep rivers. I crawled back and my hands slipped. I fell back in the river.

Jungkook's POV

"Jinhee?" I said and entered the cave but, i didn't saw her. "Jinhee?! Where are you?! God!" I said and left the cave. I searched her around but i didn't recognise a familiar figure. "Jinhee!" I yelled but i heard nothing.

"What if she's in a r-river?" I thought and heard splashes through the lake. "Jinhee?!" I shouted and go through the lake. "H-hel--" i heard her voice and i began to panic. I saw her on the lake struggling. I jumped and hugged her underneath. I pulled her and kissed her forehead.

Jinhee, your safe now.

We both coughed at the same time and i saw her teary eyes. "Jungkook! Im sorry..." he said and cried. The rain suddenly stopped. "Jinhee, don't cry. Its not your fault. Its okay now, your safe.." i said while hugging her into my arms. "I shouldve believe in you..im so stupid.." he said. "No your not Jinhee..the important thing is, your safe now. Let's head back to the cave.." i said and carefully helping her to stand up.

We both go back to the cave and i took off my wet clothes. When she saw my half body naked, her eyes widen and blushed. I chuckled of her cuteness. I searched my jacket into my bag and immediately, covered her body.

"W-what about you Jungkook? Its cold.." she said worriedly. I took her hand and kissed it. "The important thing is, your not. Don't worry about me." I said and she smiled. "Thank you Jungkook now, can i ask you a favor?" She said and i nodded.

"Please, don't face me. Cover your eyes. Im gonna change..." she said and sat up. My eyes widen and i nodded then looked back. My cheeks flushed red and i bit my lip.

Okay, i need to control my hormones.
