Btw the clan is kinda small coz in the previous story there was a big fox attack and quite a few cats died... :( so yeah :3 enjoy. Oh and also I'm about to publish chapter two :D

DAWNCLAN

Leader: Icestar

A beautiful white she cat with icy blue eyes. Apprentise: Smokepaw.

Deputy: Leathertongue

A blackish brown Burmese she cat with dark green eyes. Apprentise: ironpaw.

Medicine cat: Jaystorm

A light grey tabby tom with sharp blue green eyes. Apprentise: Moonpaw.

Warriors:

Flowertail: red brown she cat with a white tail tip and bright yellow eyes. Apprentise: Willowpaw.

Sootclaw: Black and white tom with light grey eyes.

Hazilfeather: dark ginger she cat with hazil- brown eyes.

Apprentices:

Moonpaw: small light grey tom with Pale light green eyes.

Smokepaw: Ashy grey tom with Blazing amber eyes.

Ironpaw: light brown tabby tom with moss green eyes and one white paw.

Willowpaw: honey brown and white tabby she cat with soft leaf green eyes.

Queens:

Emberblaze: sleek black she cat with Amber eyes.

Kits~ Peachkit: light ginger tabby she cat with yellow eyes.

Rainkit: light grey tabby she cat with blue eyes.

Cloudkit: white she cat with green eyes.

Elders:

Rusttail: small tom with russet fur and dark grey eyes.

Skyfrost: dark grey tom with icy blue eyes.

Chapter one...

Moonpaw picked his way through the old herbs and berries at the back of the den tiredly. "Do we actually need any of this?" He grumbled to his mentor. jaystrom turned to face moonpaw his brow creased and he sighed deeply. "Look moonpaw... It's obvious you don't want to be here" he meowed. "You don't want to be a medicine cat apprentice do you." Moonpaw took a step back cautiously "I.. I do!" He insisted "it's just.." Moonpaw trailed off as he spotted his brother and willowpaw heading towards the medicine den. "what" jaystrom turned to see the pair padding across the clearing, then swivelled around to face moonpaw again, his eyes shadowed in confusion "why are you so hard to figure out" he sighed and shook his head, before going to greet willowpaw and smokepaw. 'I wonder what they want' moonpaw growled as he followed his mentor to the mouth of the den.

"Yes I agree." Willowpaw was meowing to jastorm "peachkit will need to wait a while for her apprenticeship." Jaystrom nodded. "But there must be some way to help her heel faster" she mumbled. Her eyes trailed off as she spoke and moonpaw could not help but notice the strong, deep shade of green of her eyes, fade to a softer, lighter green as she turned her head. "Moonpaw" Smokepaw was meowing his name annoyance hard in his tone. moonpaw looked up "what?" He growled. his brother narrowed his eyes and raised his head. "how's everything with you today?" he asked politely. "fine" moonpaw meowed briskly. he dipped his head and sat down with his tail neatly over his paws. Smokepaw smiled "glad to hear it" he meowed. "Do you mind if I check on her?" Willowpaw was asking jaystorm. "not at all!" jaystorm meowed, and he stood aside to let her pass.

"Well.. she is definitely healing." she meowed as she gently prodded the ginger kits belly. " yes. but be careful" jaystorm warned "we don't want her wound to start bleeding again" willowpaw nodded. "would you like me to stay and help.." She asked, but before jaystorm could answer moonpaw stepped infront of him so he was face to face with willowpaw. "NO!" he spat "We don't need your help! Why should you ask? Do you think I'm hopeless willowpaw?! Huh? I will show you! I'm going to be the best medicine cat the clan has ever seen!!! ... We don't need you... and you are not welcome to help!" Willowpaw took a step back "w.. why not?..." she stuttered. "becau-" "moonpaw!" hissed jaystorm. Moonpaw padded to the back of the den sulkily. 'mouse dung!" he muttered under his breath. " yes you are welcome to help us willowpaw" jaystorm meowed. There was no reply from the young she cat, and as moonpaw looked over his shoulder all he could see was the flaming, angry, amber eyes of smokepaw. "we need to talk" he growled and he headed out of the den. moonpaw sat there for a moment trying to decide if he would follow his brother or sit and face the wall whilst willowpaw did his job for him. No, he would not be able to stand that. He stood up, avoiding the other cats eyes and headed out to smokepaw.

As moonpaw padded out into the clearing, he spotted smokepaw sitting not to far from the fresh kill pile... "what was that?!" Smokepaw hissed as moonpaw sat down beside him. "what was what?" Mumbled moonpaw grumpily. "you know what I mean!" His brother growled through gritted teeth. "It's none of your business!" moonpaw snarled. Smokepaw sighed. "Your my brother moonpaw" he meowed, and his voice softened. "tell me what's wrong?" moonpaw shuffled his paws anxiously. "I...I can't" he shook his head miserably. "I'm sorry... I can't tell you" he stood up and turned away from his brother. "wait!" smokepaw called as moonpaw started to rush back to the den. he slowed and turned his head. "what" he meowed. "what does it have to do with willowpaw?" smokepaw padded forwards as he spoke. moonpaw did not want to answer that. if he did smokepaw would think he was a mouse brained twit, and he'd probably never speak with him again. moonpaw did not want to lose his brother... or willowpaw. "uh.." moonpaw stuttered. "tell me brother" smokepaw pleaded, "you haven't been the same since we found out" he meowed. moonpaw narrowed his eyes "what has that got to do with anything?!" he growled. "ever since we found out willowpaw was not our kin... you have changed moonpaw..." smokepaw sighed. moonpaw could feel anger rising in his chest... then his throat... like he was choking on open flames. "NO!" he hissed "It was ever since you and willowpaw..." moonpaw was screeching at this point, but he just couldn't bring himself to finish that sentence. "JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!" smokepaws fur was standing on end, and he looked as though he was prepared to launch into battle. But moonpaw wasn't planing on fighting with his brother... he was exhausted. "just leave me alone" moonpaw croaked. and as he stumbled off into the trees... he suddenly felt very alone.
