The Nature Ring

Chapter 2

Antonio's POV

"BEEE-!" *crash* "Stupid alarm. Too damn early to be dealing with this." I grumbled as I dragged myself out of bed. "Shit. I need to go buy another alarm clock." I say as I look over at the remains of what use to be my alarm. I slowly drag myself to my closet; changing into my everyday clothes. "I need to for look for a job." I say to myself. Walking down stairs, I hear the sound of things being moved around and some hissing. "You want some breakfast to Tina? Give me a second to make your food." I say as Tina moves around the kitchen.

Going over to the freezer, I pull out a few rats and set them on the counter. Going over to the covered, I pull out a bowl and spoon. Setting them down by the rats. I quickly grab a rat and throw it at Tina. She lunges to it and catches it in mid air, happy that I started feeding her. Walking to the fridge I pull out some milk and shut the door. Moving everything to the table and throwing Tina another rat. walking over to the pantry, I grab some cereal and sugar. Heading back to the table, I trow Tina the last rat and tell her to go outside and bring me back the mail. Sitting down, I start to create my sugar concoction called breakfast.

When I finish I start to put everything away, when I hear Tina come back in the house. Not paying attention to what she was doing, I continued to put things away. I turn around and see Tina with a newspaper in her mouth. Walking over I grab it from her and continue walking to the couch. 

Sitting down, I allow Tina to make her way onto my stomach, before opening up the paper. Turning to the job section I start to scan through what is open. "Delivery man, no don't have a vehicle. Pet shop, probably don't want me since I own a python. Cashier sounds to boring." I say out of boredom, until something catches my eye. "Tina listen to this. Needed butler for new cafe. Pays about $1,000 dollars a day.(Just going to use US dollars, since it's easier for me) Sounds like a good deal, don't you think Tina?" I say looking down at Tina, who nods her head in approval. "I'm going to head over there to see about getting the job. You stay here and guard the house while I'm gone." I say to Tina while walking out the door.

Time Skip~

Walking in i see not that many people there. A girl in a maid outfit walks up to me asking "Hello sir, how may I help you today?" "I'm here for the job offer in the newspaper." I say avoiding eye contact. "Sure follow me into the back." She says walking away to what I assume is the back. Walking into the back I see a desk and a couch in the corner of the room. "Wait here, while I go get the boss." She says walking out of the room. 

I go and sit down on the couch scanning the room I was in. "Hello I assume you are here for the butler job?" a woman in here late 30s says. Facing her, I say "Yes. I am here for the job. My name is Antonio Carriedo. It's nice to meet you." "Well Mr. Antonio, my name is Macy Wilson. It's a pleasure to meet you. Let us get this interview started shall we." said Macy as she sat in front of me.

Time Skip since I don't want to type to the interview~

"Well Antonio I have to say you got the job. I can't wait to have you working here. You will start on Monday. Have a good day." said Macy. "You too." I said clearly happy that I got the job. Walking out of the cafe, I couldn't help but walk with a little skip. As I was walking I could hear someone screaming in the distance. Not thinking anything about it, I continue my way home. "I can't wait to tell Tina about getting the job." I say out loud to myself continuing my way home.
