I'm sorry but I think I've lost the ideas some where in my head,
I forget what I've hidden beneath my bed,
My drooping eyelids seem to tell me that it doesn't matter and I shouldn't care,
But something else tells me something important is hidden there,
I'm sorry but my words don't string together well anymore,
Mismatched socks are scattered all over the floor,
And yet it's so quiet and still in here,
My own shallow breathing is all I can hear.
