Two brothers already gone.
Isabelle repeatedly told herself ever since Alec passed away that it wasn't her fault even for Max. There was no one to comfort her, but Simon holding her in his arms, although he didn't have any warmth in him any more it was still reassuring to her. She would call Simon to come over yet he isn't allowed in the Insitute which means sneaking out to see him. There was no reason to be quiet, Alec is gone, Max is gone, Jace is out with Clary, her parents are in the library, or in their bedroom. Isabelle hasn't stepped one foot out in her room for three days after the funeral, she sobbed horribly locking herself up not contacting with anyone.
With Isabelle's shaking hands she made a portal with her red steele that lead to Simon's apartment, slowly the image of the appearance of his front door began to form. The sharp blowing cold wind hit Isabelle in the face trying to step inside the portal. With her whole body fully inside, she closed her eyes then opened them finding herself on his hallway of the apartment. As Isabelle lifted up her hands making a fist she softly knocked at Simon's door multiple of times.
The irritating knocks interrupted Simon's marathon of the Walking Dead. He scampered himself to his door opening it hastily. Simon's eyes recognized Isabelle's look on her face, the look when they were in Mangus', and when they were in the Alicante. Those memories of them together when Isabelle was in great danger of her emotions, that were filling up with sadness. Under Isabelle's eyes were dark, looking skinnier than usual, and the color of her skin seemed to drain out in Simon's eyes.
After a silence of staring at each other Isabelle entered in Simon's apartment, reaching Simon's waist with her arms wrapping herself with him. Simon felt a hard rock had hit him, but it was just only Isabelle crying and soaking his shirt. He moved his hand on the back of Isabelle's head trying to peacefully calm her down.
"Isabelle please.. don't cry." He cooed kissing her temple for a couple of seconds showing his support to her.
Her arms tighten around him making Simon not even move a inch, he was stuck in his position. All Isabelle wanted to do was cry for who knows how long, but wanted to stay with Simon. She did not want to lose a love one again, not her parents, not Jace, Clary, and especially Simon.
"I don't want to lose you Simon. Don't ever leave my sight please. Stay with me." Isabelle blurted out, loosening her grip on Simon as her head directed towards him.
"You won't just.." He glared at her, and continued "Stop crying for a minute and talk to me please?"
Somehow Simon got a hold of Isabelle's hand, and made her follow into his bedroom. He sat on the bed still holding onto Isabelle's hand until she sat next to him brushing their shoulders together.
Isabelle's gaze wandered to Simon's eyes, leaning her head attempting to kiss him but got interrupted of his question.
"Tell me what's wrong?"
"Everything is wrong, Simon. Don't you understand-" Isabelle kicked her boots on the side of the bed. "My family is broken, and my life.." She sighed with an uneven pace of breathing.
"So you're telling me that we're wrong" Simon paused for a moment looking for a reaction on Isabelle's face. "Isabelle nothing is wrong. Everything has it's reasons. I'm here for you." Simon nodded taking her hand that was placed on her thigh.
Isabelle's mouth was trembling, already sadness was taken over her. She wish she could temporarily leave it all for a moment, all of her depression. Leaning to Simon with her lips locking on his, her hand traveled to his chest pushing his back against the mattress.
No more reasons to cry anymore. I had everything I need right in front of me, Isabelle thought.
