The Pretty Girl in the Ravenclaw house { Ginny x Luna }

Ginnys' POV

We were on are way to platform 9 3/4 when a boy asked my mum how to get to platform 9 3/4, it was quite odd seeing as he didn't know, but judging at how he looked he was probably a first year, like Ron, mum showed him how then we all went through as well.

He was honestly quite cute. He introduced himself as Harry...Harry Potter? It couldn't actually be him, Harry Potter the boy who lived.

And ever since then, I have been embarrassed to say it, but I had a crush on Harry Potter.

                       ~Time skippy to next year~

Yet again we were walking to platform 9 3/4 , but this time with Harry, I hadn't had the courage to talk to him yet since he had been at the burrow but hopefully we will become friends soon. Since it was my first year I got to walk through the wall first with mum and dad, and to be honest I was pretty nervous to go to Hogwarts, I mean i knew my brothers, and Harry,  but that was it really. I said my goodbyes and waved to mum and dad then got onto the Hogwarts Express, it was pretty filled up with people so it was a struggle to find an at least half empty compartment. After searching I found a compartment with a single girl with pale skin and long blonde hair, she looked interesting , but I didn't understand why no one wanted to sit with her,

"Hello, do you mind if I sit with you" I spoke

"Oh yes, I don't mind" she said softly with a slight smile

"I'm Ginny by the way" I said as a sat down across from her

"I'm Luna" she said, her smile widening then looking back down at the magazine she was holding, it seemed to be The Quibbler but it was upside down, how peculiar.

They continued to sit in comfortable silence as Luna read the Quibbler and Ginny pulled out one of her textbooks and began to read it until someone came through the door carrying some books,

"Oh never mind" they called to their friend who seemed to be outside of the door "this ones got Luny Lovegood in it" he snickered, Luna sighed but Ginny couldn't just let him say that about her,

"Why would you call someone that, that is an absolute horrible thing to say especially if you don't even know the person" Ginny burst out with an angry expression on her face,

The boy looked shocked "s-sorry" was all he managed then he and his friend cowered away,

"You really didn't have to do that you know" Luna chimed in (with a haven't you people ever heard of..sorry)

Ginny looked surprised "why-how can you be fine with people calling you that? doesn't it hurt?

"Well not really anymore people just seem to call me that all of the time" she said trailing off 

"oh" was all Ginny could manage before Luna continued back with The Quibbler   and Ginny with her textbook.

A few hours had passed as they nears the castle Ginny was now excited but nervous because she hadn't seen Ron or Harry yet. 

Ginny and Luna changed into their robes just as they were about to exit the train, Ginny got a little to excited and grabbed Luna's hand and ran down the corridor, they laughed but then got stopped by some people coming out of their compartments,

"Are you nervous?" asked Ginny

"Yes I suppose a little" Luna replied

"Me too, I hope we get into the same house!" Ginny added before the crowd stared to move again, they got off the train to hear someone yelling "Firs' years over here" so they walked that way to see a very tall man with long brown hair and a long bushy beard, after all of the first years were there he led them to some boats that led to a magnificent castle ahead, Ginny and Luna got into a boat that was heading straight for Hogwarts.

Hey! So this is the first chapter of this Luna x Ginny fanfiction, I'm going to try to update at least once a week if not more.
