Old Friends

DECEMBER 14,2016 Cesar's POV
 Girl was Paola she was one of my best freinds in elementary school.
"Paola?" I said.
"Cesar?"she said
"What are you doing here?" she asked
"I came here looking for my friends parents mine didn't make it?" I say as i start tearing up.
"My parents didn't make it either and i'm really hungry." she said.
"Come with me I have food for us to eat."I said
"Thank you s much I haven't ate in like two days." she says
"Follow me" I say as I start walking towards the house. I grab my backpack and give her a bottle of water and a can of food. She starts opening the can as fast as she can. Her hair is all tangled and there is stains of blood on her. She eats the can of food so fast.
"This place doesn't seem that safe she says come with me to my house." she says
"Where is your house?"I ask.
"It's not that far from here."she replies.
I tell Rashad and Annasty about it and they agree to go to her house. We grab our things and start walking to Paola's house. When we get there it looks really safe. The windows are shielded with metal and the entrance is covered with another door (one metal one wood)and it has a gate around it. We go in and there is almost no mess. It all looks clean and there is still some light because she lit up some candles. We all sit down and start talking and trying to make each other laugh. I ask her if she has anything we can do and she has lots of board games. We start playing some.
"I wish Sarah was here."Annasty says.
"Me too" Rashad says.
"Who's Sarah?" Paola asks.
"She is our friend that left when we got in the car crash."I say.
"Do you know where she went?"Paola asks
"Kinda"I say as I give her the note. She starts reading it and she says"I don't know where this is but I kinda of do. It's like down the street and then you turn right then left then you follow that street until you get to the gas station and then you turn left and I think that is where it is."she says.
"Ok we'll go two days from now my body still hurts from the car crash and my eye is still badly cut."I said but I knew Rashad and Annasty were mad.
