The Cure

December 18,2016 3rd POV
Annasty and Sarah looked at each other as the military walked toward them. They didn't know what to do. The men checked Rashad and Bianca's neck,shoulders,arms,and legs. Then they checked Sarah and Annasty's.
"She's bit" one of the men said
They pointed their guns at Annasty's head.
"Please don't kill me I've had gotten this bite when it all started" Annasty said lying
Then they checked again and it was like a giant scab.
"How long does it take for them to turn" one of the military men said to their leader.
"One day" he said in shock
"We promise we're not lying"they said
"OK we'll take you with us but even if you look sleepy we'll shoot you" their leader said
The military men tied the kids hands with rope and put them in a one of the trucks. They started driving to the military base to do some reasearch on the kids.
December 19, 2016 Sarah's POV
It felt like we were driving for hours. Finally the truck stopped. They got us out of the car and into this giant building. They walked us in there was lights. They had electricity?! Their leader walked us into this room and strapped us in these chairs.
"Hey where are you going" I asked
"Shut the hell up and wait here" he said
"Why did you lead us here Cesar. I thought you were helping us" Bianca said
"I don't think he was trying to hurt us he must've thought that the military would've helped us" Annasty said
"I hope he sent us the right way" Bianca said
We waited for what seemed forever and then the a person in a lab jacket brought about four needles. She told us to stay still as she did the procedure like at the doctor. She took some of our blood and left again.
"Why did she do that" Rashad asked
"She's gonna go check our blood for any viruses and stuff like that" I told them
"I guess so" Rashad
She came back and took Annasty with her.
December 19,2016
I didn't struggle but my friends didn't want me to leave. She took me to a room with a bunch of other scientist or whoever they were.
"You are the cure" she told me
"What" I said suprised
"Yes according to your blood test it shows that your body isn't affected by the virus" she said
"If you let us take more of your blood we can make a cure and inject it into your friends and into us" she told me
"I want my friends to discuss this with them " I told her
"Ok" she said as she told another guy to go get my friends.
The man came back with my friends and I told them about it
"So your the cure that's amazing" Sarah said
"Ya but they are gonna have to take some more blood" I told them
"If were doing a vote then I think we should let them take as much blood as they need to" Rashad said
"Ok" I told them
I told them to take as much blood as they need to.
December 19,2016 Sarah's POV
They strapped Annasty to a chair and enjected the needle. I saw as they took tubes of Annasty's blood. I was holding her hand as they took out her blood.
"Hey Sarah I'm gonna miss all of you" she said
"What are you talking about your not gonna die" I told her
We looked at each other and then she passed out.
"What the hell did you do" I said teriffied on ehat they were gonna say
"She said take as much blood as you need to and we need all of it" she said
"What we thought you ment like three tubes" I said pissed off
"We're sorry but we had to for the human race" she said
"How could you do this" I told her
I  saw as Annasty's face turned pale and in a about a minute they took all her blood. I curled up on the floor with everybody else and cried.
December 20,2016 Sarah's POV
I woke up on a bed and I went to go check on the others. They were all sad too. 
The doctors came in and asked us if we were ready to be enjected with the cure. I sat down and cried even more. I can't believe I lost almost everyone I loved. My parents, Cesar, and Annasty. They enjected me with the cure and I asked them something.
"Can you make a statue of my friends" I asked her
"We will if it wasn't for them we couldn't have had saved the human race" she told me.
"Do you have a phone charger" I asked her
"Ya" she said as she handed me it
I connected it to the wall and took out Cesar's phone and put it to charge. When it charged up a little I turned it up and went to gallery. We had did this thing in 6th grade that was so dumb put we did it anyway. Ever since we met we would take a picture with each other and occasionally with Annasty or Rashad or whoever was around. I looked at them and started crying. I can't believe this all happened exactly a week ago.
October 4th, 2039 Sarah's POV
23 years ago this happened I said to the few children at the school I taught at. It was the end of the school day and went to Downtown Dallas where I saw the statue of my friends. I put some flowers down and read the plaque at the bottom of the statue.
"Here is the statue of the 2 people that sacrificed themselves for the human race. Annasty Henry 2005-2016 and Cesar Salinas 2004-2016" It said.
This will be a story that will live for ever how a group of kids saved the world.
