GGGGGGOOOOOONNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!! GGGGGGGGGGGGOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I race through streets of Carodia worrying I won't make it and that means if somebody is a Dragon Rider (which is likely) I'll be their servant, but if I'm not there then a beating would be considered generous. I round the last turn, skidding to a halt. At the very back of the audience, already can't see well plus the wind is blowing my auburn hair in my face.
"Drew, step forward." The Dragon Rider sent to Carodia said, indicating the stage, which was above a massive source of magic and if you had the possibility to be a Dragon Rider you would be able to summon some of the magic into the form of a element. The stronger chance you had of being a Dragon Rider. Drew stepped up onto the platform, and at first nothing happened. SSSSNNNNNAAAAAAPPPPPP!!!!!! CCCCCRRRRRRAAAAAAAACCCCCCKKKKKKK!!!!!!!! dozens of branches were being carried in an insanely strong wind. The wind circled around Drew, then suddenly burst outward as if it were a firework. "Well, it appears Drew could very well be a Dragon Rider, but as I am informed we felt massive amounts of power coming from this area so I think in all there will be not 1 not 2, but three Dragon Riders.
There wasn't a single person in the crowd that didn't gasp. I felt my heart sinking in my chest, after all, I had 3 masters to serve? Drew was nice, but also from a rich family, so he thought the words 'servant' and 'nice' would never belong in the same sentence.
"Anove, please step up." the Dragon Rider said, his arms spread wide. Anove stepped up. Nothing happened.
"Aw, come on, man!" Anove said in disappointment.
"Sorry Anove, please step to the side of the stage. Next up!" The Dragon Rider said. Nothing happened for anyone till the last kid up. The Dragon Rider called "Evern, come up." he said. Evern walked up. the second he made contact with the stage, five rocks shot skyward. As abruptly as the rocks had ascended, they crashed back to the ground. "Well, not insanely strong magic but magic none the less. Now, the servant girl for this year, come up to the stage." I slowly walked to the stage, grimly accepting my fate.
