Angels and demons exist, but while not all of them are civilized and docile, they can turn feral and corrupted. Feral demons and corrupt angels can attack small villages and rampage for food, which is a problem. However much of a threat they may be, they are very scarce and hard to find.
An ancient civilization, known as the Fotians, are known to be flame worshippers and sacred tribes. Their architecture and religion is always based around flames, and how it gave them life. Their cities are located deep underground to the point of magma rivers and walls of molten earth. While rare to find such locations, their strength is said to have been formidable and challenging.
While the Fotians homes are unique, a realm of existence is said to be more unique and more exotic than they were. The realm of no light, known as the Abyss or the Deep, it's said to be endless chasms and trenches almost as bottomless as the sea itself.
