Though she be but little, she is fierce!
-William Shakespeare, A Midsummer Night's Dream
"Who knows about Greek mythology?" My teacher said. I raised my hand along with some other people.
"Yes, Ms. Faith?" She said.
"Well-" I began. But then the speaker crackled.
"Ms. Bella Faith and Mr. Raven Stygian please report to the principal's office immediately. I repeat, Ms. Bella Faith and Mr. Raven Stygian please report to the principal's office immediately." It went silent.
Everyone turned to look at me. Raven was three years older than me so we were in different classes. I got up and walked to the door. I never really talked to him except when we were on the same team or partners for some stuff. I have no clue why I was sent to the office with him.
I met him in the hallway. The school was a elementary, middle, and high school all in one. Collage was in the next building. Raven nodded a greeting to me.
What now? Principal Gordon is gonna turn out to be a Fury? I thought as we walked down the hall. He looked over at me in surprise.
"You have one dam big imagination." He said. He smiled like he knew a secret.
"Whoops. I said that out loud, didn't I?" I sighed. It was a problem that I have. That and also that I said everything that was in my mind.
"Yup."
Raven and I have nothing in common. Nothing at all. He has jet black hair and I have dark brown. His eyes were an unusual color, it was like they keep changing. Also, don't forget the fact that he was older than me.
"What if Percy never disappeared?" I mused out loud. I was a huge fan for Percy Jackson.
"Wait. Do you mean Percy as in Percy Jackson?" He said in suprised. I was shocked. We do have something in common!
"You read Percy Jackson!?" I gasped.
"Yeah! You're a Percy Jackson fan too?"
"You're a fanboy!?" My world just turned upside down.
"Yeah, I mean, fanboys do exit." He chuckled.
"Oh. My. Freakin. Book." I took a deep breath.
"Need to stop for a sec?" He said. I shook my head and we continued on our way.
"I know that fanboys exit, but I really gave them a second thought." I admitted. We reached the office and the security nodded at us.
"Please wait there for Principal Gordon." He said curtly. I sat down. Raven sat next to me. He was in his freshman year and I was in sixth grade. The door to Principal Gordon's office opened.
"Bella, Raven, please come in." He gestured to the door. I walked in first and Raven was right behind me.
"Sit."
I sat down.
"You must be wondering why you were sent here." He started and pulled his chair closer to us. I nodded.
"Well, we've figured out that you two are in the same fandom, am I right?" How did he know?
"Yeah..." Raven said slowly.
"Raven, you're past thirteen. You should be in Camp Half-Blood by now." Whoa, wait. Camp Half-Blood?! Raven looked equally shocked.
"Bella. The gods have taken special interest in you. Especially Apollo. He keeps saying that you are important to the world." He said.
"Whoa. Rewind. Replay. Re-whatever. You said what?!" My voice sounded a little higher than usual.
"And what did you say about me and CHB?" Raven said.
"What I said is true. This means that you must DIE!" He suddenly jumped at us.
