It was silent in the house. So silent that you could hear a pin drop. (I think I've written that before 😑)

It's been several hours since V and Lucy's fight and now they were just sitting at the kitchen table, waiting for water to boil for some tea.

After what Lucy said, they decided that continuing the argument was pointless...that and the fact that it would have gone way out of hand if not ended at that.

The sound of the kettle was heard in the silent house. Lucy got up from her seat, that was across from V, and walked to the stove and started preparing the tea.

Since Lucy and V were no longer face to face, V finally got the courage to ask Lucy a question that was on him mind for about an hour now.

"So...when will it go back to normal?" He asked referring to her hair which was still white. Luckily her eyes went back to normal right away as well as her nails and teeth.

"*sighs* tomorrow..few days...I don't know. This has only happened once before, so I really don't know" Lucy said as she she returned to her set with two cups of tea in her hands, sliding one over to V.

"Hey.....I'm sorry" V said slowly with his head down as he continued. "I'm sorry for everything. None of this would have happened if I just listened and minded my own business"

"Why are you apologizing? If it wasn't for you I would still be stuck in that stupid statue. Well technically it was Jin, but if you hadn't done what you did..I don't even want to think of how much longer I would've had to live like that. And I don't think I've properly said this, let alone say it at all, but...thank you" Lucy was looking V in the eye to show that she meant every word. No tricks.

"So...what do you say we...start over. And actually become friends?" Lucy offered quietly. This time not looking at him, scared of being rejected.

A deep chuckle made Lucy look up at V in confusion. She was met with the sight of V with a box smile on his face looking right back at her as he then started nodding his head. "I thick that's exactly what we need. Friends?" Lucy then returned the smile. "Friends"

(A/n: I feel like that was extremely cliché and cringe worthy. And I really don't like how I wrote that but it's 3 am and I at least have to try and sleep, so I'm not re-writing it)

(Time skip and Lucy's P.O.V)

Since V was lazy he said that for dinner we were going to go to a restaurant. I've heard about them a few times. But all I know is that you can get food there..I think.

As we entered, what I assumed was the  restaurant, there was a pleasant and welcoming aura to the place. A man who looked to be in his mid twenties then led us to a table and gave us each a menu.

On the way here V explained a few things to me. Like how to order and what not.

But actually being here, the food on this menu looks really good. And I can't believe this is actually a thing. We just ask for whatever we want and other people bring it to us? Of course V said something about giving those people weird small rectangular plastic sheets(money) in return. Beats me why they would want it though.

And so, with the help of V, we ordered our food and now we had to wait.

While just talking about random stuff, there was a slight pause in the conversation as our ears both picked up on some guy speaking into a microphone on a small stage that I just noticed.
