Chapter 9- try me

"This is where you work?!" Lucy was amazed at the music studio Suga had brought her to. "You like it?" Suga asked Lucy, who had sparkling eyes as she stared at the microphone trying to figure out what it exactly was.

"Yeah!.. But what do you do?" She tilted her head to the side while asking. "Isn't it obvious?" Suga asked. "..well no. Why does everyone keep forgetting that I haven't been out and about for a long time. I feel like I've had to explain myself so many times by now" Lucy sighed and sat down in one of the chairs in the room.

"Oh..sorry. I don't know how I forgot actually. But it's just that you seem so normal, I guess it's hard to get used to the fact that your not...human. Like when we were walking to get here, nothing really seemed to surprise you so it seems as if your used to it" Suga explained.

Lucy was actually quite surprised by his answer. Considering its Suga, first the ice cream thing, then bringing her to his work place, and now this? 'Wow, I guess I shouldn't really judge a book by its cover. Suga seems really mean when you look at him, but he's actually really...sweet (that's right, I went there 😏)' Lucy thought as Suga started to wave his hand in front of her face, snapping her out of her little daze.

"Well anyways, I make music for a living...uhh, have you umm.. Ever heard music before?" Suga asked awkwardly. "yes of course. But that was a long time ago so I'm sure it sounds a lot different from how I remember it. I wish the museum played music, I feel like it would have been a little less boring. Oh! But wait, what if I don't like the music humans have created!" Lucy ranted a bit and Suga chucked.

"Well you won't know if you never listen" Suga then placed a pair of headphones onto Lucy head and started playing a song.

For some reason, and he didn't know why, but he was nervous showing her his music. And the fact that she didn't even have a facial expression made it even worse. He didn't know if she like it or hated it.

About half way though the song it was driving him crazy so he just stopped the music and to his surprise she instantly started pouting and whining.

"Heeey! Why did you stop it? It never heard anything like this before in my life!" Lucy exclaimed trying to play the song again. Suga smile softly to himself and pushed the play button for Lucy to continue listening to it.

(Little time skip)

"..And so that's what these buttons do" Suga spent the past hour teaching Lucy the basics of all his music equipment. Which was actually a lot, but she caught on fast.

"Woah. Your job is so cool! You must be really lucky" Lucy said, to which Suga got a little flustered. "Well, yeah I guess you could say that. I enjoy doing what I do and I wouldn't trade this job for any other, that's for sure" Suga stated, still a but awkward.

Suddenly, Suga's phone started ringing.

(Suga's P.O.V)

I picked my phone up without looking at the caller ID, only to be met with the frantic voice of Rapmon.

"Suga! We need your help! We can't find Lucy anywhere and if the others fine out we lost her we're never going to hear the end of it!" Rapmon practically screamed through the phone.

"Ok, What? Lucy's with me, dumbass" Suga sughed.

"Yeah so you need to com- wait..what?! Are you kidding me! We've searched practically the entire city for her and she was with you the whole time?!" Rapmon yelled. "Well....yeah, so?"

"'So?'?! Ugh just give the phone to Lucy" Rapmon commanded. "Whatever, why should I listen to you?" Suga mumbled as he did what he was told and gave the phone to Lucy.
