My eyes shot open...
"What was that dream!?"
I took a sigh of relief. As I realized that I'm sweating a lot. There's still tears rolling down my face, my eyes are puffy and red.
I looked at the clock; its 6:30 am. My thoughts were inturupted by a voice.
"Nagisa, dear breakfast ready!" mom shouted
"Yes mom, I'll be there right away!" I replied back to her.
I got up from bed and went downstairs. I saw my mom cooking, happily.
"Nagisa, go and take a seat, and you should let your hair down today!you looked very beautiful."
I flinched at the word 'beautiful' . Why wasn't I born a girl. Mom would be happy, dad wouldn't have passed away because of stress.
"Nagisa? I asked you a question, and why didn't you answer? That's a very bad habit of yours, especially when you're a girl!" Mom corrected me
"Y-yes... Mom" I replied instantly. The fear of her turning into a monster, I can't take it.
