Lapis was laying on the roof of the barn, gazing up at the at the bright aqua sky, admiring it and the white puffy clouds floating in it.

"But look at what they did to you... To Gold. Would you really let them get away with that? And let them take Earth from us nonetheless!" A tear slipped down Tanzanite's cheek, landing on her fasceted gem that had a deeply indented star branded in it.
"They made you suffer, they'll come back, make you suffer more, leave you as gem shards! You won't let them do that, will you?"
"Are you sure?"
"When have I ever lied to you?" Her radiant Diamond replied.
"You're right..." She stared once again at her gem, a brand left in it to remind her of the pain the Crystal Gems caused her.
"Are you clear on what your mission is?"
"Yes. Conquor Earth and-"
"No. Take back Earth."
"Right, Earth was a gem controlled planet..." Tanzanite replied, always being told that Earth had belonged to Homeworld and had been taken over by the Crystal Gems.
"Take back Earth and destroy the Crystal Gems."
