Selene walked slowly back to her room. After learning of the queen's death, the whole kingdom had gone into a period of mourning. When she reached her bedroom, she couldn't help but think about Levana becoming the new queen. Levana is a heartless monster she thought to herself. Selene slowly put on her nightgown, and crawled in bed. She heard a knock on the door,"Selene? It's Winter." Winter whispered softly. "Come in." Selene replied. Winter sat down on the edge of the bed and asked, "Do you want to talk?" "No, not really." Selene croaked. Then, Levana walked in and told Winter to go to bed. Great Selene thought. Levana was exactly who Selene wanted to talk to. "Oh, you poor poor girl, you must be heartbroken. Well, then again, I am a heartless monster." Levana had been listening to Selene's thoughts! Levana resumed, "You think you are so cute, and that everyone just adores you. Well think again you dumb little girl. Soon, I will be queen, and I will be the most beautiful queen to ever rule Artemisia. Once I get you out of the way, no one will be able to stop me! Oh, and I don't advise you tell anyone about our little chat, OK? Sweet dreams child." Levana walked right out of the room.
