I felt so alive, my thoughts were full of Danish, he unfailingly brought a smile on my face. When I was with him everything else drifted into the background for a while.

There were only 5 minutes till ten o clock but I went out and sat upon my swing. Danish gave me a thrill that no other boy ever gave me.

He arrived early. I stared intensely truly transfixed by him. Before he could utter a word I hugged him.

'is something wrong?' he asked gently

I beamed with joy as I locked eyes with him, 'no, Im just that happy to see you!'

'Well then you might be even happier to see this'

He pulled out an invitation. i made to grab it but he lifted it up.

'Tch Danish!!!', he smiled

I folded my arms ,'humph' looking away vexed.

He laughed, 'You can't be mad at me'

Dammit. Those twinkling eyes and that dashing smile!

I faked a cough and looked away, 'Alright alright hand it over now'

Having handed it over I read it carefully.

'Oh so your dad is hosting a formal party for his business partners and friends on Saturday'

'Yes'

'oooh sounds fancy, are you sure you want me to come?'

He looked rather annoyed, 'you don't want to?'

'No no I mean isn't it a business party and wont it be men, wont I look odd and be annoying following you around if I don't know anyone'

His expression eased, 'don't worry I mean dad has invited their families as well, it's more of a social gathering though conversations between businessmen will always veer towards business eventually. Plus your family is invited as well'

'Wait no don't call my mom and sister'

'Too late the card has been sent and I can't not invite them if everyone else's families are called.'

'Yeah I know. Well I will come on one condition' I said petulantly

He raised an eyebrow, 'What would that be'

I folded my arms, 'promise you'll keep an eye out for me during the entire event'

He smirked, 'don't worry that won't be a problem at all'

'Also please be with me as much as you can' I placed my hand upon his and looked longingly at him.

He nodded and smiled gently, 'I will try my best'

I wasn't satisfied, I wanted him with me. It was a little intimidating being with so many high class people and their children were usually more of the type who had smoked up, drank alcohol and even had pre marital sex. Call me a huge conservative but I was old school and I thought all these 3 things were pointless junk. Some people seem to have a curiosity; they believe you should try everything. Fortunately I dismiss this theory as utterly ridiculous and consider it a prime example of the annoying human behavior of doing things we know are wrong. We know drugs are bad yet we are foolish enough to use them. I mean hanging out with such idiots is quite exhausting. I rubbed my head just thinking about it.

'Alishba is something wrong with your head'

'Huh what! No!' I awoke from my thoughts, 'wait why are you asking if I'm mad??!'
