I woke up with a groggy crooked smile on my face, yesterday's scene kept replaying in my head. i finally managed to get out of bed and took a peek of the balcony hoping to find danish, but he wasn't there. I was so excited for our little home date today! We were to meet at 4. I lied and told mum that I needed to hold an extra class and merrily went over. She didn't even suspect a thing, it was sad but I learnt how to effectively lie and not show the common nervousness.
I rang the bell and looked about nervously.
Then a strong hand suddenly pulled me into him.
'Ow Danish' I laughed.
We smiled and he raised his right eyebrow with that mischievous twinkle in his eyes.
'Todayyou're all mine' he put his arms around me
I blushed looking down. He smelt so good.
'bhaiyyaaaa'
Maryam peeked from behind the wall. She gasped.
'Do you love Alishba?'
'Yes'
She got excited now, 'will you marry her?'
I was a bit surprised I mean we had just started dating so I understand if he said no, but I entered this relationship keeping in mind that Danish is the man I want to marry, however did he feel the same way? What if he said—
'Yes' he looked determinedly at her.
Maryam started jumping up and down in ecstasy, 'when whenwhen!'
'There's still a lot of time for that. You'll have to wait a bit'
'Awww'
'Okay well today Alishba is here for me and you have summer work to finish'
'I'm going. I'm going hmph' she turned her little head petulantly and went off
Danish riveted his attention towards me now.
'You really also want to marry me?' I asked wondering if he simply answered yes in maryam's idealistic presence.
'Of course. What do you take me for?'
I had no answer.
He leaned in, his forehead touching mine as he looked straight into my eyes.
'I've got my eyes on the prize' he flashed that perfect charming smile, 'Now come on lets go to my room.'
'Alright let's go'. I was a little amused. I had never seen this side of danish. he was excited about the day like a 5 year old having his best friend come over.
'Wanna see me dance?'
'Oh my god yes!' this would be priceless!
'Alright let's do this'
I sat on his bed while he selected a song. His room was so cool and blue. He selected moves like jagger
Then Danish started moving, his body supple and athletic, his moves free but practiced.
I started clapping', you're so talented! You never told me you danced!' I exclaimed
He winked, 'everything has its time'
Then the techno music began.
'Hmm this song sounds familiar'
'It's club can't handle me right now'
