"Rosalie, darling please don't wander off too far from the house. Your father and I can't see you when you're by the forest!" My mother shouted as I looked into the forest where I knew there would be a lake, a beautiful sparkling lake that would reflect the sunset perfectly. Father and I would always go there around this time, but right now he was busy. I took one last look back at my home seeing my mother walk into the house before I made my way to the lake, the sun setting as I sat down on the rocks at the shore. 'A few minutes wouldn't hurt,' I thought, but then I fell asleep. I woke up to the high pitch of a scream and I stood up, immediately racing back towards my home. But as I neared the forest edge I could see it, my home was burning and the screams of my parents who were still inside could be heard. I let out a blood curling scream that turned into sobs as my legs became weak and I fell to my knees overwhelmed with grief. Blurry figures becoming all I could see of the world around me as they surrounded me and picked me up, ignoring my attempts to fight back, not that I had any strength left to fight anymore.

I bolted up and sucked in a much needed breath of air as my room door burst open and Leviathan stood in the doorway. "Rose? Are you alright, I heard you scream."

"Just another nightmare," I assured as I my breathing slowed.

"Want me to stay with you?"

"No that's alright, you should get some sleep, I'm sure the Dr will want us to train tomorrow."

"Okay, make sure to get some sleep yourself, even if you need to take the serum again in order to sleep." He ordered.

I sighed. "I promise, I will."

"Alright, Goodnight Rosalie." He nodded, hesitantly leaving the room, closing the door behind him.

"Goodnight Levi."

I sat up in my bed for the longest before I decided that although the serum had long life changing term effects, I needed the sleep. I opened the drawer next to my bed and pulled out the syringe filled with the golden liquid. I carefully inserted the needle into my arm and drained the liquid before I put the syringe onto my nightstand and went to lie back down. I rested my head against the pillow and closed my eyes.

'Mommy, when will I meet someone that loves me as much as daddy loves you?' A 5 year old me asked my mother.

My mother smiled, 'Soon, Rosalie, very soon.'

My eyebrows furrowed as I realized that wasn't the answer she had given me that day. 'What do you mean soon mommy?'

She chuckled, 'Just wake up, you'll know soon enough.'

"Rosalie." I heard and my eyes opened to see Leviathan standing at the foot of my bed.

"Hmm?" I asked groggily, and also confused as to why he seemed so worried.

"You were crying," he explained softly. "Anyways, Dr. wants us up right now for an early training session so he can observe, to see how much you've improved, and he has a new serum prepared."

I looked at the empty syringe on my nightstand and nodded to him which signaled that I would be right out. I quickly managed to get ready and be in the training room before Dr. showed up, which was a good thing since he hated having to wait on other people.

"Rosalie, so glad you could join us," Dr. Zola started as he walked into the room shortly after I did. "Please, come, I have a new serum for you to try, it should have greater affects than the last."

"Yes, Dr. Zola."

Once the new serum was injected, Levi tossed a bowstaff my way and I caught it with ease.

"Get ready," He warned and I gripped the staff tightly.

"Do not go easy on her Leviathan, we must see how well her abilities have improved."

"Yes, Dr. Zola."

"You may start," Dr. Zola announced and Levi charged at me.

My staff clashed with his and we came face to face. His eyes were darker this close up though which meant that my friend was replaced with the warrior that he was made to be. I shoved him away and swung my staff towards him with a limited amount of force that he quickly deflected.

"Rosalie holding back will only limit the full capacity of your abilities! Every move must be precise and full force!" Dr. Zola shouted.

"Yes, Sir!" I shouted back as Levi struck my side with his staff and I felt nothing.

"Are you alright?" He quickly stopped to ask with a slight nod from me as an answer we continued to spar.

"Say the words," I heard Dr. Zola order the scientist next to him.

"Règne," The scientist started, "Casse Fierté," he continued and my limbs began to move of their own accord. "Douleur," he continued to chant and I grew angry as my consciousness began to fade, "Triomphe," I now felt disconnected to myself, watching from a tunnel vision view. "Loup." I was now fighting my brother figure, but I had no control over my own body.
