I don't know why
People aren't more afraid
Of the ocean
That could drown them softly
Maybe they are fascinated
By it's unexpected game
It plays with everything
That enters
Tossing and turning
And throwing around
Or maybe it's the
Beautiful picture
It paints
The mysterious look
The gentle wave it gives
I suppose
The ocean is a lot like
People
Who play a game
With everyone they meet
Like humans
Who look gentle
But are so cruel
Like the person you meet
Who can drown you
But also gives you peace
I don't know why
We aren't more afraid
But maybe it's because
The game is fun
And when we aren't drowning
Or being tossed around
It's beautiful and calm
Inviting you
The ocean is calling
