(Written by Sofia)
Oh princess
You sit in your castle waiting
For a prince who will never come
You glow on your throne
With love for a person you don't know
Oh princess
You don't know the wonders of your world
You haven't seen the stars
So you can't reach for them
You only know darkness, no light
Princess
Your castle is not a prison
The doors stand closed
But there's a reason they have hinges
Not having a prince
Doesn't make you less of a princess
Your glow isn't restricted to a throne
It's meant to be shared
Princess
Your glow doesn't depend on
Love for others
But rather love for yourself
The wonders of the world
Are at your fingertips
You just have to reach for them
Princess
The stars were made for you
They will light your way
Even when the sun and moon give up
Remember, though, they can't shine
Without darkness
And remember, above all
You are a princess
Which makes you
The most magical kind of magical
Princess
