Chapter 6: Catching Pokemon part 2

The group just walked around Quartz forest bumping into random Pokemon but never successful in catching them, this continued for hours until Ash suddenly asked “Hey, Shin Professor Acacia said that you can use Pokemon moves so why don't you show us", the group stopped walking and were in a clearing “Ehh!? W-well I c-can but they aren't im-impressive and I can only use two" Shin said, Shin backed away from the group "Get ready to be disappointed" Blitz said, Sparks flowed around Shin for a few seconds before he released a small electric shock.

"......Well, that was anticlimactic" Gary said unimpressed.
"See it w-wasn't that im-impressive, its m-mostly good for paralisis I'm
no-not that st-strong when it c-comes to fighting" Shin stuttered out "Fighting?" Ash asked.

"We're going to have to explain a lot of things to you won't we?" Blitz asked "W-well there are two k-kinds of battle modes re-regular and objective, you pr-probably already know how regular w-works knock out the apponents pokemon, in objective it's the op-opposite you have to knock out the aposing trainer" Shin explained.

"What!? But isn't that dangerous?" Ash asked "W-well it is but people have been trying to ch-change that rule for ye-years, the worst o-outcome is that the trainer d-dies,the best outcome is that t-their just knocked unconscious" Shin explained, Ash, Pikachu and Gary stared in horror.

"Hey Shin I think they're paralyzed with fear" Blitz joked, Shin giggled at that, "Why are you laughing?! That's so messed up!" Gary yelled, Shin yelped and backed away "I-I'm sorry!" Shin said meekly. Gary sighed "Well this complicates things, what are we going to do now Ash?" Gary then turned to Ash, who had a thoughtful look on his face. "Ash?" Gary asked, Ash then looked at Gary "Huh? Oh sorry I was thinking-", "Don't hurt yourself" Blitz mocked, "-That I decided that I would become a Pokemon master no matter what so I'm still doing this!" Ash said with determination.

"What!? But didn't you hear what he said! The worst out come is death!" Gary reminded him "Yeah, but that means we will just have to be extra careful when we're in a objective battle!" Ash said cheerfully
"*sigh* Well I'm stuck with you guys either way so lets just keep searching for Pokemon" Gary said as they continued their search for Pokemon.

(An hour later)

Ash and Pikachu just dropped down of exhaustion "Uhhg... I'm so hungry" Ash groaned "Yeah me too" Pikachu agreed, Gary and Blitz just stared while Shin just checked his Pokewatch "W-well they're stomach cl-clocks are working it's l-lunch time" Shin informed them.

"Really? I didn't notice well lets go find some berries" Gary suggested, starting to walk off "W-wait! There's no need f-for that I have s-some berries in my satchel, You g-guys can keep s-searching for Pokemon while I make lunch" Shin suggested "Seems good to me! Let's go Gary!" Ash said springing up from his spot on the ground and pulled Gary away followed by Pikachu.

Shin turned to Blitz"W-weren't Pikachu a-and Ash to hungry to
m-move a minute ago?" Shin asked Blitz, he shrugged... Well as much as he can for a Pokemon "Eh, I don't know they are a bit odd, oh and whatever your making better be good" Blitz said as he curled up for a nap.

"*sigh* I hope the others are going to be ok" Shin said as he started to unpack from his satchel.

(With Ash,Gary and Pikachu)

"Hey guys now that its just us I need to tell you guys something" Ash said "Shin is always stuttering, why does he always do that?" Ash asked.

"That's a random question to ask right now, but we'll have to ask him that later, right now we're looking for Pokemon and it's bad manners to talk behind someone's back" Gary replied "Hey, Gary where do you think we should look?" Ash asked "I don't really know, how about we search in different places and get back to Shin in half an hour" Gary suggested "Seems good to me! Later Gary!" Ash said enthusiastically and running off followed by Pikachu. Gary sighed "This is some team I have a meek Pokekid and not-so-bright champion" Gary then tripped and getting a face full of dirt.
