HERE'S ANOTHER LESSON IN TRICKERY

THIS IS-

I'm sorry. I had to.

So I came up with this idea, for a Doctor Who fanfiction contest. Here's the prompt:

"Write a pilot (in the form of a story, not script) to a new season of Doctor Who, with you as The Doctor, and your best friend as the companion."

Requirements:

- Must clearly illustrate how your original doctor differs from previous Doctors, and how their companion compliments this

- Must provide a unique conflict

- Must be written as if your Doctor has just regenerated into this original form

- Story must be 3 chapters maximum (beginning, middle, end)

- Lastly, no matter how you change the character, The Doctor must retain his/her heroic nature.

Things to consider:

- Your doctor can be of either gender (male or female)

- Your companion could be male

- Your doc can be any race

- You can have a new sonic screwdriver

- You can visit any time or place (on earth, but make it believable)

Alright, I think that's it.

Note: I will be participating as well, as an example, not as a contestant. Simply because I can. :P
