Kortaru's P.O.V
We just left the castle, I don’t understand why im such a big deal. Im just a girl after all, well that’s what I thought before a moment ago.
*******A MOMENT AGO******
“WHAT?!” I yell at Gin as he looks at me “Taru, ive been your familiar. Its just that when they took your brother they also undid me being your familiar, so I couldn’t help you.” He explained as I stand next to him confused. “wait, so when I came into the woods you were just waiting for me?” I ask him as he gently nods. “your kind of a big deal to magical creatures. You also have powers of your own.” Gin said as he grabs my hand. “you are a spell singer” he added as I stood there speechless.  ******BACK TO THE PRESENT******
yep that about sums it up; I can cast spells by singing.  “im sorry Kortaru, I should’ve told you sooner.” Gin tells me as I kick the dirt.  Why does this kind of stuff only happen to me? I mean its ok that I have magic, an that I met Gin. But my memories are so fuzzy. “Gin be honest with me here, am I a good spell singer?” I asked him as he smiled. “you were very silly with your magic, you couldn’t figure out how to cast a spell perfectly. Whenever you casted a spell it would be so sweet, kind, an gentle, but you could also cast a spell without singing.”  Gin said with life in his eyes. “you liked me didn’t you Gin” I said with a smirk, it wasn’t really a question. “u-uhm. What do you mean? Of course not!! I am no other than your familiar!” Gin protested as he looked away, but I could tell his face was red. I giggle an hug him, reassuring that its ok.  He looks at me then looks down.  Its been a couple days now an we have been through a lot! There have been trolls, unicorns, dragons, even That wolf Haru has bothered us in these woods. But no matter what we always stick together. I look at the night sky in wonder; what if we get to my brother? What will we have to do to save him? I cant even use my magic. I look at Gin who is sleeping peacefully on the ground, I crawl up to him an smile. He’s so cute when he’s not telling me what to do, if only it was like this all the time. “if your going to stare at me while I sleep, we could keep walking” Gin said as I looked away quickly, gosh he even kills the mood when he’s asleep. “s-sorry... I’ll keep watch.” I said as he smiled. What a mysterious fox he is. I stare into the woods keeping watch, then I see something move. “Gin…” I whispered to Gins ears while I shake him trying to wake him quietly. “Gin..” I repeat “yes mother?” he asks sarcastically “something moved in the woods” I spoke as he jumped up. “stay down” he demanded as he looks around. Then out of know where a unicorn jumps out at Gin “Gin!!” I yell as the unicorn runs for me, it stands on two legs an stomps down to scare me off. Then Gin attacks the wild unicorn. It then ran off away from are camp sight for the night. The sun is setting in the trees, the bright stars are taking over the dark night. Im hypnotized by how beautiful  the woods are at night. The trees an flowers start to light up. “what the?” I say out loud, I stand up an walk over to a bright blue flower, I touch it an sparkles go on my hand. “excuse me, would you like it if I touched you while you were sleeping?!” the flower yells at me. “im sorry, I didn’t know you could talk..are you alive?” I ask the beautiful flower as I back away from it. “of course im alive! Who let a human into the fairy woods?” the flower asked. Fairy woods? Wow so beautiful.

Gins P.O.V
I lay down and fall back to sleep. All I can think about is her, I don’t want to admit my feelings, im just a hopeless familiar after all. Then I hear her voice clearly, she’s talking to someone. I open my eyes to see her in front of a blue flower, oh no this could be bad. I get up an walk closer to her. We are currently in the fairy woods, the woods come alive at night; how could I forget something as important as that?  That’s a rare type of flower. They hypnotize humans into believing they can talk, after they are hypnotized they can make the human do anything they command. “Taru!” I yell out to her. She turns around an smirks at me. I don’t want to hurt her, anything but that. “hello Gin” she runs up to me an pulls out her katana. I grab my katana out from my side, I restrain her attack. She keeps running at me, I guess I have no choice. “in advance, im sorry Kortaru”  I say as I jump up into one of the trees “Nosa Tackne” I say as Taru falls to the ground asleep. Yes I can cast spells when I need/want too. Its only to protect her. I jump down to her side an pick her up in my arms,  place her near the fire. “silly girl, you shouldn’t talk to random things in the woods” I say as I kiss her head.  I sit next to her, I don’t want anything else bad to happen to her. I then turn around to see if she’s still asleep, she smiles at me an reaches out her hand. “sleep my love, say goodnight. Just don’t let those bugs bite. Abro zecus” she starts singing then everything turns black. My eyes slowly start to open, is it daylight already? Wait Kortaru! I jump up looking for her but she’s no where in sight. I need to track her scent, I try smelling around, I look down to see im in my human form. “Dammit why now of all times?!?” I yell as I stand up. I look around once more to find help, I cant turn into a fox during the day unless im already in my fox form. “it seems like your having some trouble” I hear a familiar voice behind me. I turn around to see who the voice belonged too, it was no other than Haru the wise wolf. “you again? What are you doing here?” I ask her as she smiled “I heard your call silly, plus I have nothing better to do” she replied while grabbing my hand. “ok are you going to help me or not? Because I don’t have time for this” I say to her as she laughs “of course, but you have to do something for me in return” she looked at the trees “no way, goodbye” I reply walking away. “poor Kortaru, all alone in the woods with no one protecting her. It would be a shame if something happened” I turned around an grabbed Haru by the ear. “I swear on my life you do anything to Taru I will kill you” I threatened as she smiled ear to ear “oh im so scared of a useless human like yourself” I let her go “fine what do you want?” I asked her as she took my hand once again. “I want you silly fox, that’s the only way Kortaru will get out of here alive” she spoke as I frowned. If I go with her what will Taru think? I know she wont like it, not one bit. But all I have to do is use Haru until the sun sets once more. “fine you can have me. But you have to bring me to Taru.” I said as she laughed. “ok. You have yourself a deal you filthy fox.”
