Chapter 7

Andito kami sa Rave ngayon. For how many weeks na pagreject ko sa mga invite nila Sasha, napasama na nila ako this time. I mean, going out to clubs doesn't hurt sometimes, right?

Sasha and Jazzy are a little bit tipsy na. They do drunk, yes. Me? I don't. It's just that.. I'm a good girl. Okay. Kidding. I only drink light liquors. Ssshhh.. That's a secret, alright?

I checked my phone if what time is it when Zeus wrap his hands around my waist. He kissed my cheeks. His heavy breathing on my neck gives me shivers. Lasing na siya, I know.

"Give me a kiss, babe." Bulong niya using his seductive voice. Ugh.

To tell you, Zeus hasn't kiss me on the lips yet. I don't allow it. Madaming beses niya ng inaattempt na halikan ako sa labi, but nah. Call me conversative, I don't care.

I put my phone inside my purse and smiled at him. "No." And I kissed him sa cheek.

To my surprise, he removed his hands and brushed his hair. "I knew it. I know you'll reject me. Again." At tinungga niya ang isang shot sa lamesa.

Usually kapag nirereject ko siya sa kiss thingy na yun, he would say that he can wait. But this time, mukhang pissed off siya sa pagtanggi ko.

"Hey. It's just that--"

"Amethyst, it's a just kiss."

"Yeah. Don't be such a baby."

Putol nila Sasha and Jazzy. Napaisip ako.

"Pagbigyan mo na, Amethyst." Kantyaw pa ni Dean. May binulong si William na ikinangisi nila Sasha.

"Guys, forget it." Zeus stopped them. Tumungga na naman siya ng shot. He's sooo pissed off, alright.

Napapikit ako. Should I kiss him? But I told myself that my first kiss would be for the guy who will be with me for the rest of my life. Si Zeus na ba yun?

Nag-iisip pa lang ako ay nagulat ako sa ikinilos ni Sasha. She quickly stands up from her seat at lumapit kay Zeus to kiss him. She even sits on his lap! Zeus didn't respond, until his arms are slowly moving to touch Sasha's waist. The movement of their tongues while kissing hurts me. Bakit hindi ko kaya yun?

"That's what you call kissing, Amethyst." Sambit ni Sasha pagkatapos ng 'session' nila ni Zeus.

"Attagirl!" Support ni Jazzy and she even clapped.

Bakit hindi ko magawang magalit kay Sasha? Bakit hindi ko magawa yung mga katulad sa teleserye na kapag nakikita na nakikipaghalikan yung partner nila sa iba ay sasampalin ng bida at sasabunutan?

"Let's dance!" Sigaw ni William para maiba ang topic. Nagtayuan sila and only me and Zeus left on the couch.

Zeus put his hand on my shoulder. "Hey. That was nothing." Was it?

I do have a doubt that it's not nothing, but I smiled at him. "I understand." Ang tanga ko ba?

Days passed at parang nagbago na ang samahan nila Sasha at Zeus. They've become more concern with each other at ilang beses ko na silang napapansin na nagpapalitan ng tingin na sila lang ang nakakaintindi. I don't want to believe Sasha and Zeus have 'something', because I know Sasha won't do such things. And Zeus is more sweeter when he's with me. Paranoid lang talaga ako.

I stepped out of the car at dumiretso ako sa tambayan. I found Sasha, Jazzy and William there. MIA pa si Dean and Zeus. Maybe late.

"Hi, girl." Bati ni Sasha. I gave her and Jazzy a beso. Okay kami ni Sasha, if you're asking.

"Uhm.. Will, I'm hungry. Can you get me some foods in the cafeteria?" Pasweet ni Jazzy kay William.

"Sure. How about you two?" Cool na tanong niya samin ni Sasha.

"Water for me." Sagot ni Sasha while applying a foundation on her face.

"I'm good, thank you." Sagot ko kay William at umalis na siya.

Ipinasok na ni Sasha ang make up kit niya sa nagmumura niyang pink na pink na Dior bag and looked at me. "Okay, Amethyst. Let's talk." Kalmado ang pagkakasabi niya. Not mad, not even happy.

"About?" Naguguluhang tanong ko.

"Why are you rejecting Zeus everytime he wants to kiss you? I mean, that's Zeus Ravanilla!"

"The hot Zeus Ravanilla." Dugtong ni Jazzy.

Natawa ako sa kanila. "You know the answer to that."

"Yeah. You want your first kiss with your prince charming." And Sasha rolled her eyes. "Girl, this isn't a fairytale."

"I know--"

"Alright." Putol ni Sasha. She grabs my hand and hold it. "I'm your bestfriend, and I care about you. Nagwoworry lang ako that Zeus might be fed up with you and left you."

"Sasha, that's too much!" Saway ni Jazzy sa kanya pero nakangiti ito.

"It's not too much. I'm just saying that Zeus might be pissed off real bad and look for other bitches. You know how naughty Zeus is, right?" Tumango ako. "Ikaw din. Baka magslip sa palad mo si Zeus."

"He can't do that. He loves me." Bulong ko. I get Sasha's point, but I trust Zeus. Yun ang meron ako, trust..

"Honey, love is sometimes not enough. Kapag nakatapat ka ng malandi, talo ka."

"Magbase ka sa tumawag kay Zeus last week. Charlotte, right? Who's that? And why did she call Zeus 'Baby'? Huh? C'mon, Amethyst.. Let Zeus feel your so-called love. Umpisahan mo na pagbigyan siya sa gusto niya."

Inihilamos ko ang mga kamay ko sa mukha ko. Natatakot ako sa mga sinabi nila. Natatakot akong maiwanan ni Zeus. "I.. I don't know."

"Ugh! You're hopeless!" Maarteng sabi ni Sasha.

"Ano bang inaalala mo, Amethyst? That Zeus isn't the guy for you? Kung hindi pala siya, e bakit boyfriend mo siya ngayon? Bakit mo siya sinagot months ago if you think that he's not your 'prince charming'?" Pagkumbinsi ni Jazzy sakin.

"Can we drop that fairytale terms na? Ang corny."

Napaisip ako sa sinabi ni Jazzy. She has the point. I am somehow convinced about what she said. I love Zeus. He will be with me for the rest of my life. Itaga man ng kung sino sa bato.
