Seems like something anyone would want to do, right?
But I was running from the Law.
But that's just something I did.
Just now they were chasing me not for stealing, like always, but for murder.
But no, I did not murder anyone.
Especially not the last family I had.
But let me explain.
I'm poor. I have no job. No degree or anything. I only have a secondary school degree. Which, mind me, is not that bad. You still could find a job. But here, in this city, it is not much. There's many schools for higher degrees. And much good paid work. But me being only 17, with most likely dead parents that won't pay for college or something and no other family...
But Her.
My best friend.
My only friend.
My only family.
She has always been there for me.
Never left me alone, always kept me safe.
Telling me to stop getting involved with the law.
So.. You see she wasn't the richest. Like all the "little worms in the mutt" like I've been told before. Many times. But she always kept us safe. She had a small apartment in the... Not so safe part of town. And she had a very little paying job. But it was enough.
Even tough... I didn't want to have to stress her out like that. And so I started stealing. Stealing food and other things we need, to live.
Which is why I always get involved with the law. I'm wanted. A
Criminal.
and also the reason why she's dead.
But let me introduce myself.

I was up in a tree, hiding. They were searching for me. But unluc- NEVERMIND IM RUNNING. Now I was running again. I ran into a cave. And I tripped, nice.

And so I fell.
