Chapter 2

"Why hello. Are you looking for a book?" Said the man.

"Actually I was wondering about that sign out there. Also I am looking for a good book." I said.

"Let me in! Let me in! I'll tell mom. Let me in right nowwwwwww!" Said Iris banging on the door.

The man walked over hit a button gave me a look that said "do you think I sould let her in" I nodded and he opened the door and Iris came in. She shoved her backpack in my arms and sat down in front of the fire. I through the backpack on her and went to look for a book. This little book store had hundreds of books from Atlantis to zombie. I found a Book titled THE GUIED TO ADVENTURES the complete version. I decide I would buy it and went up to the man. "Ahhh that is a good book it was the only one of its kind. Strange that you would find it. But never the less. Could I possibly see you in the back room or by the fire?" Said the man.

"Sure. But by the fire please I'm freezing."

So I kicked Iris off the chair and sat down. The man sat down in the chair next to me. " so may I ask your name miss?" The man said in a very pleasant tone.

"Yes it's Addy. We'll my full name is Addyson Lavinchi but I don't usually use my full name." I said a little surprised that I said it.

It was almost like I knew him from somewhere maybe at the local market? I was so focused on my thoughts that I didn't even hear him say something to me! "Addy can you hear me?" He said.

"Huh oh yea I can hear you. It's just that I think I have seen you before but can't figure out where."

He gave me a curious look and then went to get something off a shelf. He came back sat down opened to a page looked at it and glanced up at me. Then put his head down agin and shook his head. After that he closed the book, got up and put the book back. Picked up another book and walked over to Iris and said "So what is your name?"

"Why do I need to tell you? Besides I'm not supposed to talk to strangers." Said Iris.

I sighed and went over to the chair Iris was sitting in and slapped her on the side of her head. Then said "her name is Iris. Iris Lavinchi to be politely correct."

"When are we leavening I want to go shopping. Let's go. I WANT TO GO NOW!" Said Iris almost making me deaf.

"You can go shopping and I'll go home also you can pay for anything you buy so there Miss prissy." I said confidently.

"We really sould be going so if you'll excuse us."

"Wait I'd like to talk to you in the back!" The man said.

That's when I realized I didn't even know his name! I asked him but he just acted like I hadn't said anything. He guided me to the back and sat me in a chair and sat in the one across from me. He stared at me for a couple of minutes and then spoke "My name is Mr.Clams and I believe that you have seen me before. But I won't say any more. But I will say this you don't know what you think you know. Ask your mom about your family and then you will know. But just don't do anything you'll regret." He said.

So we got up and Mr.Clams lead me back to the main room and Iris was standing there impatiently and tapping her foot on the ground. "It's about time you two got back! I've been waiting here for like an hour! Come on Addy I want to go shopping!" Iris said in a winey voice.

"One we are are not going shopping. You can I will not. Second of all I'm not your servant. And third you followed me so shut up and sit down and learn some manners brat." I said before I even knew I was saying the words.

Mr.Clams gave me a "hah that's the way do it" kind of smile and walked over to us and said "ok girls break it up. You should be getting home." He said.

I retrieved myself from glaring at Iris and walked to the door but before I could even touch the golden door handle Mr.Clams spoke "don't forget the Question Addy! Don't forget."

I walked out the door and when I was about a quarter of the way there I heard a voice in my head that said "Remember."
