This is Jason guys 😛. So good looking 😩, but so evil 😒.

Kimberly ❤️

The next day, I was in the gymnasium doing my floor routine. The routine I've been doing since I was 16. I'm surprised I still remember it.

"Good job Kim." My coach, Cassy, exclaimed.

She's been with me since I was 16. She even told me that I look like I'm Olympics bound. I had the opportunity to go to the 2016 Rio Olympics, but I turned it down because I wanted to be my boyfriends cheerleader. So I didn't go.

But 2020, I'm going. Definitely. And it's crazy because I'm going for both the USA Women's Artistic Gymnastics and Women's Rhythmic Gymnastics.

Monica said she's going too. And you know Zeke had something to say about it. But you know Monica, she don't play that shit 😭.

I did spins, flips, twirls, etc., getting ready for my ending. Which was a roundoff backhand spring and a triple twist 6 feet in the air. Kinda hard to do. And I've been doing it for 7 years. Till this day, it's still considered one of the harder things to do in my life.

I stood at one of the corners of the floor routine mat, getting ready to end my routine. I slightly sprinted my way to the corner across from me.

I started with my round off backhand spring, then jumped and rotated myself in the air 3 times. When I landed, my left ankle turned in an awkward position.

I squeaked, landing on the mat rather harshly. I automatically gripped my left ankle, crying out in pain. I turned onto my left side, still gripping my ankle. I bang my fist on the ground, crying more harder now.

Cassy ran over to me to see what happened. I'm pretty sure she saw everything that literally happened.

"Where does it hurt?" She asked, turning me over onto my back.

I point at the bone, directly. She lifted my leg up and rotated my foot, trying to see if I'd feel any pain. There was so much pain while she did that.

"Alright, come on." She said, helping me up.

She signaled Grayson over. He's one of the therapist here.

They each had one of my arms over their shoulders, helping me to the bleachers. They sat me down by my Adidas bag.

I fished for my phone in the secret pocket. While I did that, Grayson was talking to Cassy. They then turned to me, after I had finally retrieved my phone.

Grayson sat next to me, grabbing my left leg. He placed it onto his lap so that he could stretch out my foot. As he stretched out my foot, I dialed Dak's number.

He's supposed to be going out of town tomorrow, and I didn't want this ankle situation to bother him. So instead, I just put my phone back into my bag.

I can't do it.

*****

I'm now at the doctor, getting my ankle checked out. They ran X-rays to see what the problem was.

I was sitting on the table, patiently waiting for the doctor to return. When he did come back in, he sat in the rolling stool. He pulled up in front of me.

"Okay Kimberly, we've checked the X-rays." He said.

I nodded for him to go on.

"Your ankle is swollen. And you have a cracked bone. That's why it hurts so much. We do recommend crutches so that you don't put so much pressure onto your foot." He explained.

My eyes grew wide at the sound of crutches.

"No. I-I can't have crutches." I exclaim.

"But you also can't walk on it. You'll only make it worse." He said.

"Can't I just Ice it up or something?" I ask, panicking.

"That helps, but not as much as the crutches...and the cast." He said, typing things into the computer.

"Cast?!" I squeaked out.

"You're not going to die Kimberly. I can promise, this injury will only take 3-4 weeks to heal. It'll be over before you know it. Please don't freak out." He said.

I sigh, giving up.

"Okay, fine." I say.

He nods, continuing to type. He then finished typing and turned to face me.

"Is there anyone that we can contact to pick you up?" He asked.

"Jesus." I state, bluntly.

"Kimberly." He said.

I groan.

"I didn't want him to know, but you can call my fiancé." I say, wincing at the thought of Dak being upset.

He nodded. I told him Dak's name and number, and he began dialing. He went ballistic for a few seconds, then dialed the number. While he dialed and waited, I silently panicked.

"Hello?... Is this Dak Prescott?... This is Dr. Melanin from Einstein Medical Center. I'm calling to inform you that your fiancé Kimberly, was injured in an accident at the gym... It was an ankle injury... We did X-ray and saw that the bone is cracked. As well as her ankle being swollen. So we're going to put her in a cast and on crutches. Being that we don't want her adding more pain to that foot... You would like to speak to her?... Okay, sure." He exclaimed.

He looked over at me, holding the phone out to me. I grabbed the phone from him, just in time to hear a door closing.

"Dak?... Yeah?... Well, I was doing the ending to my floor routine, and I landed kinda awkwardly... No... He said 3-4 weeks... Yeah... Okay... I love you too... Bye." I say, hanging up the phone.

I handed Dr. Melanin back the phone. He put it back on the holder and had me lay down on the table. He left the room to get the materials needed.

I sighed in exhaustion, waiting for Dak.

When the doctor returned 10 minutes later, he had Dak with him. Dak didn't look too happy either. I gave a weak smile.

"You're not mad are you?" I ask.

"Nope. Not at all. I'm upset, but I'm not mad." He said.

"It's the same thing." I say.

He shook his head, refusing to go back and forth about this. I sighed. My eyes got blurry as tears welled up in my eyes.

"Don't cry." Dak said, wiping my tears.

"I didn't want this to happen." I exclaim, through a shaking voice.

I sat up so that Dr. Melanin could wrap my ankle better. I watched as he used the beige wrap then added the cast. He then covers the white cast in pink gauze wrap.

"There, its pink. The reason why there's so much wrapping on it, is so that the ankle can heal itself. I suggest you apply ice every night so that it'll stop the swelling." He said, more to Dak.

Dak nodded. After another minute of talking, Dak helped me up so that he could adjust the crutches to my height.

After that, we were able to leave.

I know how this ends 😬.

Guys, Monday made 6 weeks since this book has been created 😍😍. So much support throughout, I couldn't be anymore thankful 😌. I love you guys so much 😘. More Dak coming your way 😉.
