Feeling her side of the bed empty, every morning for the last week, has made me feel so lost. But today she comes back. I literally can't wait to have her wrapped tightly in my arms.
She text me when she was about to board her flight. Telling me that Odell and Alex were taking a separate flight. Both going to NOLA for the 2017 NBA All-Star weekend.
We're going to NOLA too, the only thing is we're driving there. So she's gonna come back, do whatever it is she has to do, for the next couple of days, then we're gonna head to New Orleans.
Anyway, I was on my way to the airport to pick up my baby. I missed her so much.
I showered quickly, then threw on a pair of gray sweats and a tank top. I slipped on my blue Cowboys jacket and my black Adidas.
I grabbed the Escalade keys and made my way out to the truck. I got settled into the truck and began my drive to the airport.
When I reached the airport, I parked the car and made my way inside. Her plane had landed 5 minutes ago, so she should be at the baggage claim right about now.
Just as I expected, she was at the baggage claim. When she turned and saw me, she smiled. She walked toward me, picking up her pace.
"Hey baby." She said.
"Hey." I say, picking her up and spinning her around.
She giggled as I put her down.
"I missed you." I say.
"I missed you too." She said.
I peck her lips, then kiss her forehead. I grabbed her suitcase handle, and her hand. We began making our way out to the car.
She got into the passenger seat as I placed the suitcase into the back seat. I got into the drivers seat.
"So what're we about to do?" I ask, adjusting the rear view mirror.
"We can go eat." She said.
I nod, starting the car. The ride to wherever was filled with music from 106.7 Lite FM. Requested by Queen P herself.

"How was the trip babe? Aside from them getting you tight?" I ask.
She laughed.
"It was fun. We went shopping, ate some really good food. Took pictures in front of the Eiffel Tower. Toured Paris. Those two went clubbing. We joked around with each other; teasing one another. It was just fun, aside from their stupidity." She explained.
"That's good to know babe." I say.
"I know right?" She said excitedly.
I chuckled.
"I'm glad you had fun." I say.
"It would've been cool if you could've came." She said, pouting.
"I was there. Through spirit and phone." I say.
"You're so corny. But I guess so." She said.
I cheese.
"And what I say about that pouting?" I say.
"I wanted my baby there with me." She said.
"I thought I established that I was already there." I say, looking at her as I pulled up to a red light.
